That joke (more like truth) aside, there's a ton of these Koikatsu/HoneySelect engine created games out there, and a lot of them make the same mistake: they create a game with a bland story, about 30 girls who all look the same (except with different hair colors), and where the protagonist gets his cock wet just for stumbling into a room.
Sometimes that okay. PornHub exists for a reason, but usually we want a little bit more variety out of erotic games/novels. It's much easier to get excited (in all meanings of the word) when we can actually build an attachment to a character. If the teacher is just "a lonely English instructor", we're going to get less interested in her, than if we found out that "she had recently been expelled from an abusive relationship and is having trouble keeping her job, so she hopes that your a good boy and help her out with keeping her class from being chaotic, and maybe she'll reward you after school (secks), because you treat her better than the last man did".
Also, Koikatsu/HoneySelect or whatever game engine your using has a lot of customization options. Don't make everyone look the same, except with or without glasses. Don't be afraid to make each character look more unique. Give them earrings and other piercings. Maybe a tattoo.
Note that I haven't actually played the game yet, I'm just rambling on. Seen a ton of these games on here though, so that's my two cents.
Edit: Played it. Super simple game, but it is a demo. However, the save function is glitched: if you try to save on a new slot, it works fine, but if you try to overwrite an existing save, it just sends you to a screen encouraging you to go to Patreon. Working at the job seems to suddenly pay you half once you've done it a few times. If you have a girl's Affection to 19/20, the excess doesn't carry over, which kind of makes using Gifts worthless. "Energy" is mispelled in the Action selection list for the ladies.
