Ah! It was broken! Thank you for sharing your save with me. One of the quest triggers you need for the Rabbit quest was turned off for some reason. I'll see if I can put out a hotfix for this issue. Thanks again for the bug report!
Glad it hepled you a bit :)
Thanks for being active here and as - good luck with your game, it's great. Definitely will wait for polished ep1 and of course ep2.

the game itself is a lot of fun i just did not expact is to be so fokused on.. voyerism of all things..
Thanks for checking out the game!

I’m learning after publishing it that people experience the scenes a lot differently from one another. For me, when I wrote them, I didn’t intent any NTR or voyerism.

If you look up the definition of those things, the game does not technically fit, as voyerism is getting excitement or pleasure from watching others (porn basically).

Anno does see others having sex, but he never gets pleasure from it. Sex is just happening around him and In some scenes like Jester or Fawn, he’s not even there (but the player is).

I also didn’t intend to write the scenes in a way that centers his involvement as part of what makes it “hot”. He usually just shows up at the start and then is not mentioned again or shown until the end of the scene. He’s invisible/not important to the scene basically.

People feeling the game is NTR or voyer sort of caught me off guard since I don’t really enjoy either of those things in games lol.

That said, I don’t want to tell people how to feel. I’d rather update the game based on feedback, so for the next update I have been working on adding different “save” routs for the girls that I hope the improve player agency, making Anno less passive in some scenes. Maybe it will help? I hope.

You really shouldn't be surprised considering:

The MC is in about 5 of 33 scenes in chapter 1
That's what, 15%? When 85% of NSFW scenes are non-MC sex it is only natural for players to feel like they're playing some kind of voyeur or NTR game, regardless of technical definitions. Also, F95's definition of voyeurism is: "Spying on people engaged in sexual behavior including stripping." so I think it does fit.

great to hear. characters are well writen; how they think and act makes total sence, but nevertheless there were some moments where i thought: "why the f**k does he not just act, god dmn it!".. xDD

I completely understand. What’s interesting is that while the players who enjoy the game don’t view it as NTR or Voyeurism, those who dislike it cite those exact tags as the reason. It’s a divisive point, but all I can say is that those vibes were never my intention—and frankly, I think fans of NTR or Voyeurism would actually be disappointed by the content.

I enjoy the variety of scenarios a fantasy world allows, such as scenes involving orcs, goblins, or monsters. From a storytelling perspective, forcing the MC into every one of those encounters feels limiting. If I had to define the target audience, it would be fans of fantasy non-con stories who prefer not to play as a "cuck" or a rapist MC. In Chapter 1, Anno serves primarily as a mechanic to move the player between scenes; he has all the sexual encounters he wants and passes on the ones he doesn't, so he never really exhibits 'sexual' frustration in the story.

I definitely plan to include more MC-focused scenes moving forward (If you beat Chapter 1 you can see where the story is going). That said I will maintain a variety in scenes with different character and monsters, I'll just try and be more conscious of the MC’s placement.

One challenge for me is that I don’t personally get those NTR vibes from the game, so it's hard to write them out in a way that satisfies everyone. Specific examples from players really help. For instance, in v1.0, Anno originally witnessed the assault on Fawn. Once that was pointed out, I simply rewrote it so the scene happens before he arrives. I’m more than happy to make changes like that since having the MC in close proximity to those scenes isn't important to me. If removing him makes the scenes feel less like NTR or Voyeurism, I'll do it.

Also, thanks for sharing the F95 definition of Voyeurism. It’s different from what I found on Google. I agree it fits the Sophia "hands" scene since Anno is 'unintentionally' spying there. It might also apply to the Millie/Mother scene, though "spying" feels like a strong word since he isn't seeking it out or watching for enjoyment. In fact, he is looking for a way to stop it from happening. A comparison I’d make is that if the police were to watch evidence of an assault for a case, I'm not sure I'd classify that as "spying."

Haha yea, The Gup scene and the opening Fawn scene I got a lot of comments like that. I'll be editing them for v1.1

Not sure theres really a word to describe a character that sees what he does with no sexual interest yet doesn't act on anything despite his feelings of.. pity?/regret/slight anger while watching it go down to the end. I get that some things just cant be prevented or he might not be strong enough in those moments.. so wouldn't those be a good time to slap a stat check option or stats + item. Like fawns scene doesn't make much sense of needing a specific blade just to attempt some weak goblins when our guy has been in the "gym" pumping out levels and getting ancient relics + being given swords/armors, even if we don't count that, our MC has the fighting skills of a.. above average knight? + some fancy and probably at least distract worthy magic skills or even brew some potions. Honestly now that i think about it more, it could have probably been completely avoided if MC stepped in when he watched the pixie give her directions, pretty sure he said something about where that road lead

The only nitpicks i had for the game is MC feels too much jumping between "im a good guy" and "ill let this happen for the sake of progression, i need to save the city!" kinda vibe, and of course the fawn/slime events, statues is at least justifiable in a way even if cruel, personally just annoyed me the "save" option just slaps you in the face with giga rodent coming in after chasing the others away + thought it way too delusional to give too much false hope to slaves at a orc camp, even the way too long rape scene at start makes sense

I think my words before probably came off as too annoyed in previous post, so some positivity.. i really liked the whole dungeon crawling experience, the mysteries, fate, god stuff, monster designs(the non-humanoid needs their eyes to not be human-like btw), some of the characters feel like they need to be fleshed out with some lore or story but overall were pretty good, i really am interested in seeing how the story turns out for the MC, the "how what why" with the baldy, what happened to the old archmage, the things that had no explanation like the missing armor from the skeleton protected room, the random skeleton in the.. blue cave and why the blue cave even inflicted that condition + why it didn't effect MC(unless he already has that too since touching the stone) etc etc

Thanks for posting again to share what you liked about the game. It’s all helpful in the end as it helps me polish the story and gameplay in ways I hadn't considered.

Most of your criticisms are valid. To be honest, I think I was being a bit lazy and didn't want to put the time into making "save" routes that would result in no scene. My writing around the setups needs to be tighter as well. Most of your questions about why a character didn't act a certain way can be answered with: the developer just wanted a quick setup for the scene to move on. This project took about two years on and off, and eventually, I just needed to get it out, so certain choices were made.

That said, I actually take it as a compliment when people get annoyed. It means they were genuinely interested in the story, so when they hit a part with bad writing, it stood out to them. Likewise, people want to save characters because they actually like them. I’d much rather have players be annoyed because they are invested than have them be moving apathetically through the dialogue just to get to the scenes.

I’ll be interested to see the reactions to v1.1, as I’m trying to tackle these criticisms directly. While some "non-save" routes might stay as they are, I’m adding new save paths and fixing plot holes, (Fawn scene as well).

Super game. But i think im softlock. It say talk to the creature in the cell about how to open the gate. And when i talk to it , it says " cames back when you find the door"...

I tend to agree, if I can skip it, I don’t mind that it’s there. That said, as a straight dev, I’m not so interested in making those scenes + I’d have no idea how to write them well. So, it’s unlikely they will show up in Serenia.
That's totally fine. I'm not arguing that every game needs to have gay content, or that devs should create content they don't like themselves. But when filtering for a gay tag, to see if there was any gay content, there were people literally begging for no gay content to be made, which is just super insecure and cringe.
Game's pretty fun so far!
