i think the main storyline is finished but not sure if anymore will be added later. but more side quests are being added along with new scenes, art and very rarly a new character is added
So, the main character "died" in caves (his hp dropped to zero) but one of the companions was still alive. Game allows you to continue so I went back, saving before since the companion had low hp. The moment I leave the caves I get the game over screen... I mean how unbelivably stupid is that? I don't have the reviving item so this save is fucked and I have to go back to older one. At least give the revivng item to the merchant at the caves entrance if you want it to work like that. Not gonna lie frustrating af
I think that's a bug since if the mc died there's no way that you can continue even if your companion is still alive,
The plot of the game doesn't make much sense the way things are portrayed, if before the protagonist there was only one other man in the village they should all be related, so you screw your half sisters. Then one of the NPCs has a little daughter, who the hell is the father supposed to be
If i remember correctly the story narative is the goddess gains power by fusing with the elf girl when you are young and kills off all the males with a ''curse'' but because you are a child the ''Curse'' doesn't affect you because you haven't gone through puberty. so all the fathers/husbands that used to live in the village died leaving the pc as the only male. then once you have left a young man who was also probly to young for the curse to affect was meant to join the village by marrying sophie but he is killed by eris and she takes his spot
And also there's a bunch of futanaries running around, so even if there were no men left at all (including Main Character), it wouldn't be a problem.
I get it but it seems narratively stupid and wonky. But I haven't reached that point in the story yet, I'll see how it's told in the game
The few futa characters like Lene are said to be sterile though, at least in the sense of being able to impregnate others

Most of the characters are not actually from the village and are actually recent immigrants. Either that or they're old enough that their fathers/partners are from before the men shortage.
It's also implied that some of the older women were a bit promiscuous back in the day. Hence the glory hole in the bar.
