It's a restart... and a demo. So not only do you have to restart, there's considerably less content than there used to be. This is worse than 'abandoned'
This "remake" is SO lazy, pretty much Haily and the protagonist's appearance changed and the lines about their bodies in the game either didn't change or their reactions make no sense.
Haily is suprised she has boobs when she had them before the wish (But didn't in the old version)
Haily doesn't recognize the MC (Even though they talked the day before)
And also the game lost the MC who is now just a guy from the start instead of a girl changing into a guy because of the wish making the reaction to his transformation weird, since the scene didn't change, and honestly a horrible decsicion to change that because this just made it one of the 1000 other porn VNs with nothing special about it.
And stuff like that Haily and the MCs line pretty much make no sense in this enw version since the guy who made this didn't bother going over and rewriting the story to make make sense with the change instead of a copy paste and replace with no rhyme or reason

-abandonned two (allegedly good) games before because Steam refused to publish them (Bimbofilier & MILF Odyssey Season 2)
-started working on The Galactic Harem Handbook (both first chapters published on Steam) ; presumably now abandonned
-started new project named Galactic Sex Odyssey
-acquired I Wish on jan 2025 (see Milton message)
Now, despite Mac Hanson and Avenger seemingly thinking xCentric would continue their games, xCentric seems to see himself only as their publisher
Seeing how he chose to remake I Wish rather than simply wrapping it up with a satisfying enough ending and that he sees himself as a mere publisher while he still actively works on at least 2 of his games (Milf Odyssey endings and Galactic Sex Odyssey) I wouldn't put too much hope in this remake.
It also looks like xCentric is now benefiting from the money of other people works (but he does have legal rights over these though) and so could now work on his own projects thanks to this little financial backup.
Just don't except much regarding the games he simply publishes.

I'm guessing Hailey's character was really iffy. She's an "adult" in the game after the wish, but she was originally a teenager (I forgot her age). So, she was actually a kid in an adult's body. It sounds really weird when you look at it that way, and could trigger a flag from Patreon. I also imagine that's one of the reasons why the original dev had issues trying to publish it on Steam.
New version in 400 mb old version is 6 gb + Im guessing the plan is to re release "updates" every fews months as a cash grab?
