No, they fixed bugs in the phone in earlier versions.
(I haven't played the last update, so I don't know if you still need them or not).
I just finished the last game, one of the best VN games I've played, sexy, fun, made me laugh so much sometimes with the geek references. I love it doesn't take itself seriously and is out to make you genuinely enjoy yourself.
I hope this one is more of the same, played about an hour and so far it's far more linear than the first one with hardly any choices. But I'm sure I'm still on the setup stage.
The only thing I'm not too keen on from the first game and she's here is the short blonde chick, she's a little to thick for me to find attractive, but that's fine as Emily the MILF is absolute fire and I wish the game was all about her.

Got 2.0.0 for Mac ? If so, download 2.0.1 for Windows and open the file script-version.txt that's in the game folder. Then open the same file that's in the Mac app (right click, Show package contents, navigate to /Contents/Resources/autorun/game).
Do they list the same Ren'Py version ? If they do, replace the game folder in the Mac app with the one from the Windows download. Upgrade completed.
Well, i've been playing a bit more but sorry this didn't go the way I liked. I seem to be looping day one, is that it? Is that how far this game has been developed? It's wired that the first was only at 1.6 and was complete and this is already at v2 and it only seems to have the first day. Or am I missing some progression?
Also, a bit disappointed with the BDSM stuff, I'm totally not into it and it seems like its only what I can do with Emily the MILF, I would have liked an option just to have normal sex with her, even if it's a straight copy from the end of the first game.
It kinda put me off progressing with the game at all!

It will always be 2.x.x as Sexbot 1 will always be 1.x.x no matter how many patches or hotfixes either game gets.2) You know there's going to be more scenes with Emily, right? There will be other flavored scenes. If you played SB1, you'd know that the scenes are usually centered around some type of fetish. This time it was BDSM. Next time it will likely be something else.
3) As far as the day 1 looping, there are obviously going to be more days added as time goes on. Sexbot 2 is still very early in development. Sexbot 1 started the same way.
