I can't believe people are getting this heated about the *plot* for this silly coomer game involving time travel and sex robots.
I suppose we can all go back to wailing like children about what fetishes are/are not present in the game, a practice that seems to make up 99% of the exchanges on F95.I can't believe people are getting this heated about the *plot* for this silly coomer game involving time travel and sex robots.
Personally I enjoyed reading your criticisms, since they were way better articulated than I can ever manage.Usually, my posts are criticisms for the games I really like and think can do a bit better, but substantiated criticism unfortunately takes a lot of words. So many words, in my case, that I would not be surprised if someone, seeing my walls of text, sit back like "Homie is trippin' ballz!" or mistakenly think I'm "heated."
So far there are already 45 selectable scenes from day 1 through 6, several unlisted automatic scenes, and a few scenes with optional variations. Yes, there's plenty of content. So has the game enough content already to be worth the download? Loved the first one.But the description of the second one still calls it a tech demo with not much content. Is this still true?
He wanted to watch American Pie. Well he got a taste of American Pie in "real" life.I love Jessica so much, but our best buddy didn't deserve that

Oh no, you are definitely whining. The story has evolved for one, you acting like it not shows how much bad faith you have. The gameplay is directly tied to the story, so complaining about repeition when its interlinked shows either more bad faith or just lack of brains.Well said.
I wouldn't say I'm "complaining," but yeah. One of my criticisms is exactly that the second game is too similar to the first. It's repeating the same formula.
I am not saying the original formula is bad. It's the repetition. My point is that stories are meant to evolve. In my opinion, I think Sexbot I served as an excellent introduction to this game series and that it was time to branch out.
I am always with bruh just don't stopIf my posts are just whining, I'd love to see what acceptable criticism looks like. I feel like I'd be whining if I just said things like "Oh, the game feels kinda stale and repetitive" without my trying to explain why.
"The story has evolved for one, you acting like it not shows how much bad faith you have. The gameplay is directly tied to the story, so complaining about repeition when its interlinked shows either more bad faith or just lack of brains."
I assure you that I'm bantering in good faith--to debate in bad faith means to argue in a way just to avoid some sense of loss, and it's often done by various types of rhetoric. I truly believe the story hasn't shown evolution in any way I find meaningful or compelling, and I do see the merits to many points that Rhune brought up, but nor has anyone managed to dissuade me from my basic point of view: that the gameplay feels repetitive when it need not be, because just a little sense of a new goal/objective related to the main story, I think, would do wonders.
So, according to you, I'm either arguing in bad faith or just an idiot. I've just expressed I'm criticizing in good faith. So I guess I must be an idiot.
But then let's find out for sure: I challenge you to actually back up your claims. I repeat your comment: "The story has evolved for one . . . The gameplay is directly tied to the story, so complaining about repeition. . ."
Okay, can you give examples of how the story has evolved? Can you explain to me how the gameplay loop is addressing the major revelation at the end of the first game? Because that major revelation is where THE story ended for the time being, and now we're in something of an interlude.
I'll even help you out by offering a prompt, because we need to agree on what the story is:
Some young dude, after ordering and receiving Alexa, a sexbot, gets caught up in a time loop, thanks to said sexbot. At first, it's all fun and games. He uses the time loop to build relationships with several girls and to save them from the dastardly Melvin, only to realize the consequences of his actions--abusing time travel will eventually cause an apocalypse. In a teary farewell, the sexbot hard resets the timeline, in hopes of fixing things the next time around, at the expense of all the cultivated, meaningful relationships.
In the new time loop, the MC and Alexa, to make things right, begin by . . .
Can you fill in anything at that ellipsis? I can't think of anything in the gameplay loop that could fill in that blank, and largely it's because of the memory wipe. And since I cannot, I suggest the gameplay has cut most ties with the game's main story for the time being. We're back to recruiting a date for the prom, with no real sense of purpose related to the main problem of apocalypse. Sure, eventually I think the game will circle back around to that major revelation/plot point, and I'm fine if it takes time. I only hope that some sign posts start getting sprinkled in soon. Cause scenes like the vacuum scene and the couch scenes are no longer all that interesting to me. They're well-made and well-animated, but uninteresting.
"And thats exactly the issue 'your opinion' is just that, one random nozzles idea . . ."
Of course my comments are just the opinion of one dude, and they shouldn't be taken in an overly serious manner, as you seem to be doing, as implied will all the insulting language. I'm not here to play the hero and save the game or anything like that; it's not like I think what's wrong or missing is catastrophic. I just enjoy talking about this stuff. And just because I'm having a lukewarm response to this introductory phase, it's not like I've lost respect for Llama and the solid work he brings consistently.
Nah, man, I'll prolly retire soon. Feels like I'm trying to ride a bike uphill with no pedals and still somehow getting tired.I am always with bruh just don't stop![]()
I’ve read most of your posts about this stuff. I think if this were a linear novel you would have a point. But because this is non linear storytelling, and the game isn’t finished until it’s finished, most of what you’re saying won’t be an issue for the finished game. I have tons of stuff planned, for plot heavy scenes, reveals, etc, that I haven’t done yet, just because I don’t want to give it all away , but I could insert those scene early in the player experience if I wanted/needed to.Nah, man, I'll prolly retire soon. Feels like I'm trying to ride a bike uphill with no pedals and still somehow getting tired.![]()
The walkthrough is make sure all the event icons are completed and make sure you play the computer game twice for the trophies. There's only 1 dance end right now, so it's entirely possible that Lexx doesn't go any higher than 87.5 yet.Is there a walkthrough somewhere because Lexx at 87.5 is making me craaaaazy
don't hold your breathwhen's the projected full game completion? i'm almost done with p1 and looking forward to part 2.
Very far away we only have 1 unique loop so far. Part I had 19 different prom dateswhen's the projected full game completion? i'm almost done with p1 and looking forward to part 2.
