Dumb question but will there still be the weekly time loop in this version ? I really enjoyed the loops and how they made every run feel familiar but still allowed for it to be different than the last.

The story of Sexbot 1 is finished. Sexbot: Recalibrated (a.k.a. Sexbot 2) is coming soon. It's a sequel picking up where Sexbot 1 left off after the final time skip. Think of it as a new game because well... it is.
I don't think it's be revealed yet what format SB2 is going to take.

I'm not sure why you think everything will change suddenly because there's a number 2 in there. The more things change, the likelier it is to fail.
The sequel is just an excuse to move the setting away from highschool (patreon), split the install and update renpy.

The first part of that is immaterial but the second part is correct. Continuing with a sequel allows the dev to build upon more efficient code foundation instead of older code when he started the project. Also concluding an arc and tying a bow on it is also a clean way to keep storytelling structured and keep game sizes from getting bloated. And like you acknowledged, it allows them to upgrade Ren'Py versions without breaking saves. There are a ton of good reasons why Llama opted to go with a sequel.
Personally I really dislike it when devs keep one title going in perpetuity. Overtime it just ends up looking disorganized and dated, then the dev feels compelled to keep going back and retouching things. So doing this as a sequel is good. It's forward thinking.

Yes, I removed any content that might get too close to violating Steam's rules. The Sex-cretary scene was made as a replacement.
First we get cucked by patreon, now we get cucked by steam!? This is why I've been crying about itch for god knows how long!
Steam is usually more lenient when it comes to certain lewd content like incest, but they also don't want to take chances with certain settings like high schools. Even if everyone is 18 or older, high school implies that the students aren't technically adults yet. I agree that it's a stupid stretch, but I can't entirely blame them for being cautious.
Played through the demo and the earlier game. Good work, I like the fun sci-fi twists on things.
My note for the demo is I feel our MC should be a bit more confused as to why his 'landlady' and 'studdy-buddy' are being so affectionate with him. Maybe not so confused it becomes awkward, but I feel having things be treated so normally removes a lot of the fun, the feeling that things are escalating sexually within the household.
Only other things I'd say is I'd love to see tf content, bimbofication, corruption or some mind-control/alteration elements. But that's cause those are my fetishes. I could see though a gender-bending side-story with the nerd cast resulting in a couple lesbian scenes with the sex-bots. Just cause I think it'd fit in with the wacky Weird Science aspect, just as like a side-mission or something.

I loved the first, but had very mixed feelings about the futa content - on one hand, it was hot af, on the other hand, the MC was being cucked and size shamed to a degree. I wish there was an option to still view futa content without the MC being present - either that, or have him participate in more than one scene. Maybe make the futa content be present as an optional alongside another route? But thats just my two cents. While im giving my feedback, im aware the odds of this getting seen or considered are slim to none.
Actually i'd be down for an entirely futa on female spinoff lol. (like for real i would kill for a segment where amazonian alexa is a hung futa and fucks emily the milf)
