It is not needed. As you are introduced to the girls, you can change them to family members. Landlady to stepmom or mom. This can be done to relationships in other households, too.
I tried and failed.
I wanted to do incest but my native language is not English.
So it gets complicated.
What is the correct order for incest?

I would expect a bit more explanation then if that were the case. Like instead of "locked" it should say "no current content" as the previous iteration had locked scenes that you COULD unlock so the dev has already set a precedent in that direction.

But by all means insult people because you don't understand the difference between good and bad design choices.
Point is that there is no content for those locked places yet, that doesnt make the game bad, shame that you got confuse.
Anyway, the man is cooking, so just wait until there is enough content, the first game was like this at the begining too.

The first game had a bunch of unlockables that were unlocked only after certain paths were taken on the days previously. So invariably since the precedent was established from earlier games it would benefit this game from a similar walk-through pathway deep dive as opposed to a "oh it's locked therefore nothing exists for it yet" assumption.
Furthermore, if the locked options are indeed locked due to no content, there needs to be a "back to day one" button that allows us to replay day one instead of the arrow at the top that progresses the days which forces you to click it for the remaining days until the Dance which since we are forced to simply click to progress due to lockout we end up seeing nothing because of it

Never said the game was bad. I implied that it was a bad design choice. Especially since he/she already set the precedent that anything that was locked and visible was unlockable before. Which trained us to keep trying and trying to unlock them.

There is a NotYetImplemented Exception in coding for this particular reason.

The new update is seemingly(?) bugged. It's impossible to see all the new scenes in one playthrough. Hell, it doesn't seem possible to even see all the scenes from the previous updates even when starting a new game.

You're not supposed to see all the scenes in one playthrough. You use the skip button for the days with no unlocked scenes.

yeah, it was possible in the FIRST release, when there wasn't much content. but, like the first game, you have to run through the same week multiple times to see all scenes. think about it- if you have 2 different scenes that take place at the same time (ie Day 2 Morning) you will have to playthrough the week twice to see them both.
BUT, if you've played the first game, you will know that 1 week IS NOT 1 PLAYTHRU! you have to play through the same week multiple times to complete 1 full playthru!

So fresh install.
Went through every option I could, but now the entire loop is either locked or content I've already seen.
Is that intentional?

For those who don't notice:

There are a lot of apparent locked scenes. I'm 99% sure they're functionally just there as placeholders; if they were unlocked, there'd be nothing behind them anyway, because that content isn't coded up yet. I'm even about 85% sure that they'll be changed by the time they're ready. In other words, just treat them as placeholders. You'll know they're real when they're showing actual scenes, and you can hover over them and look at the bottom of the screen to find out what you haven't seen yet behind them.

Meanwhile, to skip past them, click the big white arrow in the upper right.

Very generally: each of the squad of four now has a movie-watching scene. So does Meiko. And Bailey has a hot scene in the library.

Typo in Daphne's dialog when she's talking to Emily (I forget exactly - I think it was "legititmately" - looked like a freudian slip.)

I wonder if Steph was supposed to give you a pinup like the others did for movie watching. (I think she was the only one who didn't.)

What does the PATCHES in the op do? its been asked several times [used search], but no one seems to know.
They fixed up problems with the phone in the earlier version. I haven't played latest update so I don't know if they are still needed or not.
