I don't know if anyone likes to start a new game when playing SR24 but if you do I could use some help evaluating a new feature in the next release. There will be 2 new personal reputations and for the first time your personal reputations will have some effect on game play (previously they were only 'flavor'). Increasing your personal reputations; Mechanic, Hacker, Bot Trainer, CombatBot Trainer, SexBot Trainer, Bot Dealer (new), and TechBot Trainer (new) will increase the amount of money you receive when selling bots on BBS offers, at Robosechs, after UFC Fights, and at the Flea Market. This new feature does not require you to start a new game but I would like to find out if personal reputations are gained "too slowly", "too quickly" or "just right" when starting a new game. I will be testing this myself but only one person testing isn't ideal, especially when that person knows too much about how the game works. If anyone is interested in starting a new game and keeping track of personal reputations as they play periodically I'll post a "beta" version of the next release in a few days. It's not quite ready yet, I need to play myself for a while to make sure there are no crashes and that the new content is all working as intended.
As an inducement, there is an additional new feature in the next version you may like. A new role called 'Bot Trainer' that enables your best bots to train other bots in Combat, Sex, Electronics, or Mechanics by themselves. The role is similar to the 'Master Techie' and 'Senior Techie' roles except that it's for training bots instead of fixing things. I should also mention that there will be no progress in the story line this time.
