Forget the whole thing, was my fault...sorry for wating your time. It was on 100 % but dropped and I didn't check. I also didn't know that the bot has to be above 95 % to work as a senior/master-techie.
Just a guess, but maybe there is a cap on how much they will pay for the part, so an A rated powercore may be too high to meet the buyer's request.
Okay, got another question, is there some way to swap the default images for bot roles? Like the one that shows on a working housekeeper or shopkeeper?
I've trying to mess around with swapping images, but it seems they're hidden somewhere - only basic bot assets are easily changed.

It would likely get overwritten with each update.
I think the only images that can easily be replaced are the sex assets for bots when they are assigned the bedroom toy role.
The topic was brought up about having bot specific images for the other roles, as well as missions, but it was considered too much work and distracting from focusing on the main storyline.

Regarding parts; have you ever set any parts "Do Not Sell" flag? From inventory click on the part and see if it says that.
Regarding replacing generic bot images; there may be some people who know how to replace images built into Renpy games but not me. If you download the source code and the correct version of Renpy you can replace images and build the game yourself. (Important! The game code is NOT compatible with the current version of Renpy. You must use Renpy 7.4.11.)
Regarding page activity; Actually I had no idea what to expect and the activity volume varies a lot. Today is the most posts in a long time.

I was tempted to support the whore mission showing the same sex images of the bot used when they are bedroom toys but you can already see these images in the game and the game requires images of bots failing the mission too which don't exist. Bottom line is two options; 1) accept that the bedroom toy role is the only place you see bot specific images or 2) download the source code and create your own variant of a variant!
Note: You can see random bot sex images at the private room in Robosechs but it's a random selection.

I really have no idea, but even just an image of a beat up bot like in the dump would work for all of them as a stopgap, no?
On a completely different note, isn't the vanilla"AGRX-10" the absolutely best bot for general use? I mean, it learns combat and tech a bit slower, sure, but she's the only one with core stability 0.5 and parts damage 0.5.
No other bot comes even close to that, with "ER-Camilla m3" being A-rate and having 0.55 parts damage at the cost of 1.25 core stability. Hell, in theory absolutely best S-rate "ER-Sigrid m2" only has 0.85 core stability and gets 1.2 parts damage.

Sorry about the pictures thing but I have a roadmap for this game that I want to follow and improving the support for bot mods isn’t on it. I’m biased, I prefer making new things in the game (missions, quests, roles, etc.) over more bots. Someone else might do things differently but SR24 is stuck with me.

You're right about fear of abandoning games and I'm very aware of the issue. It's a rare game that actually gets finished. To be fair, there are some developers of adult games that are reliable but so many people start games they never finish for various reasons.Nothing to be sorry about, you did great with SR24 so far and I hope to see your vision of it completed.

I've added some skill specific biases to all of the bots in SR24 including Radnor's but I have no plans to make any other changes to Radnor's original bots. I may tweak my own bots a little here and there but I don't plan major changes. Bots having flaws is the way I want it to be. AGRX-10's flaw is the D rating and high frequency that make her low monetary value. I try to have each bot have a 'purpose'; they are designed to be best at something, good at a few things, and not so good for other things. In most cases the differences are small and I'm pretty sure most people don't notice. Daedalron is better at designing unique bots and parts than I am.

This is a long shot but what version of SR24 are you playing? A new feature introduced in version 0.9.0 had a bug that is similar to what you're experiencing. It was fixed in 0.9.1. Only 0.9.0 has the bug.Nope, sorry.

Also, this was asked before and I missed it. The built in BBS offers to buy specific types of parts from you for strange reasons (cpu, eyes, etc.) all accept parts that are E, D, C, or B. None accept F, A, or S. People who post on the BBS don't want junk but can't afford good stuff!

I am aware most of them work with this, but would any mod requiring mr.shakys parts mod work? Seeing how you have yourself added lot of parts, I am not sure if I should try those or not.

If a mod required 'shakymod_parts' in DSCS it also requires it in SR24. The only exceptions are when the mod author created an SR24 specific version of their mod. I know that Daedalron, ZOM, and Yurishikane have done this and there may be others I'm forgetting.
Including 'shakymod_parts' is common for people using older mods and it works fine. You do end up with a larger number of parts in the game but this doesn't cause any problems.
This is 100% optional but if you would like to avoid adding more parts there is an MS Word doc in in the 'information' folder installed with the game describing how to update mods to use the native SR24 parts.
