Yeah just making it easier for a mouse only playthrough would solve almost all my qualms with your game! That and maybe not having to always wait for animations, but that's a minor issue for me.So, I'll be changing it to be played with the mouse only. If you guys have any other recommendations for Snatcher! to optimize it or make it less janky, please let me know! I don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon LOL since I have plans for it in the future, but I will be making some time to make it less shitty.
Only a couple scenes, and even then, you have to make choices to reach those sort of scenes. As the story progresses and I update the game, there’ll be more specific times where Femdom is clear and present. Is femdom a big part of the sexual content or just a couple scenes?
Unfortunately, the file size is too big for Itch.io to be played online. I do have plans to make it online in the future, but frankly, I have no clue how to do that LOL. Will do more research on the topic.can you make it playable online on itch.io?
Hey, no worries, it’s on me for constantly pushing the walkthrough when the game should be played without the walkthrough. As always, I’m still learning and developing, so Snatcher! and the jobs will definitely get a few more changes in the future to make the line from A to B a little clearer, especially in the Ebrima job. I have to remember puzzle games are only fun when you have an idea on what to do and where to go.Dude, I was using WALKTHROUGH, and the snatcher mission document folder asks for a password, and even using all the paths presented and the password given in the walkthrough, it still gave an invalid password.
I really enjoy the game, as it's quite a cool play from a perspective, but honestly, there could be a simpler way to use this mechanic and find things without missing a beat.
Frustrations will always occur, and I must apologize for the way I presented my complaint, a rude error on my part. I hope your game is as good as I hope and you hope.
Good luck man.
Oh fuck, completely passed my mind on that one. I’ll definitely fix that, super big issue on my part.Hey smurg great and trippy start to your game so far, especially the "e" scene.
Slightly annoyed by how we have to enter the MC's name every time the game starts before I can load a game. Hope that gets changed fast
Hey everyone!
Now, based on the both the comments and complaints, I've been seeing a trend: people like the writing/story/narrative content, but they don't like how difficult some of the hacking jobs/some FREE-ROAM events are, which are even causing some players to just give up and close the game, which is frankly last thing I want from anyone who decides to play what I've been spending a lot of time on.
So, I've been doing some soul-searching, and long story short... it's clear that I am not very good at making puzzle games (who would've thought?) Therefore, I've decided to upload a new patch that will somewhat address the issue a lot of people are having.
The new patch adds two game modes that can be picked before starting the game: Story Mode and Hacker Mode. Essentially, Story Mode affects the puzzle aspect of the game by taking out all passwords, codes, and other roadblocks that prevent players from finishing them (for example, hidden files are now shown, a password isn't required to enter Cathy's system or TheTrojanHorse, no need to search around Calypso's House for answers to the CrowAssistant questions); it allows for players to explore the jobs and their unique stories with ease, giving them freedom to check everything out, and then exit the job at their own pace.
On the other hand, Hacker Mode maintains the puzzle aspect by keeping passwords and codes, and requires players to find passwords and/or information by reading, exploring, and putting together clue from within a victim's system.
However, I do want to let you guys know that this a temporary solution to a much bigger problem - I'm adding these modes to hopefully give myself some time to reevaluate the puzzle aspect of the game; it's clear that my talent is in story writing, not puzzle developing, thus the modes give me some breathing room to fix the puzzles and let you guys enjoy the game without the stress of jobs that make you want to blow your brains out.
Of course, you can still play through the puzzles if you want, or you can focus on the story/porn - either game mode is optional. Currently, game mode switching during playing is in development since I have to evaluate how that'll affect the code, but for now, you pick your game mode before you choose your name.
I appreciate all the support, criticism, and compliments you guys have given me throughout this journey, and I promise I'm listening. I'm gonna be figuring out how to make puzzles less difficult, or if the game will have puzzles at all. However, the holidays are here, so don't expect too much too fast. Besides that, I hope everyone has a fantastic holidays! Stay warm wherever you are!

Teensy bit confused in what you mean by “No rev.1.” Also unless you’re playing the original game without the patches, then the directory mini game shouldn’t have anymore typing, just buttons executing commands. No rev.1.
Very disappointed. Also, the unix-like prompts for the directory mini-game would be much better if enter worked, so that during the typing of commands, it would at least flow a bit better.
The puzzles weren't too annoying or anything. infact I find it to be the USP for this game, other then the highly polished writing\presentation (great job there dev man). I do think you could look into a memory system? like a profile tracker or something that stores all the details you have discovered about them, dates other passcodes etc. which might be used later. Would help with the "search" function as well.Hey everyone!

Actually funny you should say that… I am currently in the process of making a memory/character/journal/history/whatever system inside the main character’s computer, so definitely something to expect in the next update or so!The puzzles weren't too annoying or anything. infact I find it to be the USP for this game, other then the highly polished writing\presentation (great job there dev man). I don't think I did a good job of explaining this.
