I'm having issue aswell on Win 11 via Mega. From Task Manager, the Process is being suspended

Log shows:

same issue here. tried opening the previous version as well (v0.23.0a) and now that doesn't open either

When stuck looking for a job and can't ask lisa, open console and type
lisState=3
rooEvents=1
then go back to the mall, that should unblock the story. First one is to advance the story for lisa, and rooEvents is to rollback the story for Rooney. So next time you talk to him, you ask for a job again and since it's the last one, it should move on.

How does one "open console"?

For some reason the Dr Johnson content (post all the Hinn stuff) won't trigger for me. It says to go to her office in the afternoon and Ive gone every single day (M-F) and talked to her but nothing triggers the next step. Any help anyone?

Okay I read your post about renpy, but that still doesn't answer my question. What program if any do I use to open the file for PC. Notepad, Word, or do I open the file in game?

I mean, everything can be opened in Notepad within reason....

For the last few updates... I have not been able to play Belle's storyline. It just does not go anywhere, but it says "Meet her at school in the morning". I have started new games multiple times and even redownloaded it, but nothing of simple troubleshooting seems to work. What do I do in game or how do i fix this issue?

belEvents = 1
Then talk to her, that should unlock the story

After I posted it started working after I progressed in another chat but I really think this game needs some technical love. There are a few areas where things seem to get stuck. Like before the blonde step mom scenes I need to talk to Lisa about a job, but every interaction with Lisa is pre-empted by something else Morning routine, afternoon yoga with anastasia, evening chakra release. Maybe I'm overthinking it and I just need to keep plugging away until something clicks but its very annoying to grind your way through days checking to see if the convo eventually starts.

That said I really like the game, the art is good, grammar is a little rough at times but good scripting.

How do i open the console?

Go to renpy, common, then 00console, then in that .txt find "If true, the console is enabled despite config.developer being False." Then change False to True, save, close out and then open the game. Shift+o opens the Console
