Finally, a better buildup for the story in this genre of games. I really don't like all the quick NTR that happens in the other games. It's just not satisfying enough and doesn't truly feel like NTR.

I love the direction of the story and how it's more believable. I know you said Mel needs the player to give her a reason to cheat in the NTR route, but I'd like a more subtle loss of affection. One that doesn't require the player to do something seriously wrong. It'll be interesting to peek into her phone in that case with Jen's help.

Keep up the good work! This'll be the only game in the genre that I'll be looking forward to.

That's exactly what's happening, and what the dev is going to shift towards. I asked him if the player will have to continue being an asshole to Mel to make her cheat, and he said it was only necessary for CH2 (the cheating kiss).

Going forward, you can be a good boyfriend and Mel will cheat on you (provided you make the right choices), which sounds miles better - and probably the reason why Mel confessed to the kiss (to clean the NTR slate).

Anyone knows if Ben is strictly part of the NTS route or can also be NTR? First time I played this game on 0.2 Mel got upset about the whole touch boobs prank and it became NTR as a sort of punishment for MC being a perv, but after 0.3 I haven´t been able to proc that event again, it always goes with Dave by default no matter the prior choices.

There's so many but the more popular ones I've tried have terrible stories with cliche reasons to cheat.

Not really. Stay Online might be up your alley, but even there you still have to encourage your wife to fool around - but pull back (giving her a taste of the forbidden fruit, then denying her).

There simply aren't many if any other NTR games where the MC gets cheated on simply because the FMC found someone else more attractive or whatever.

Yeah, and that's the true problem with all those games, because just right this reason is the one which is most common in the world. The second problem is, that most of those games start with NTS setup, which is nearly impossible to steer back on NTR route and look plausible, not weird or even stupid. Thankfully at least this one not did that this way.

There's actually a pretty cool demo of Jennifer's software on the Discord page in the Dev Notes section. There are some nice touches that the dev included that help with the immersion.

I can't trigger the event itself where they take photo of Ben hugging Mel. When "I'll give you a hug" or "proper hug" is picked, it ends up with a kiss instead, because MC didn't notify Mel and she wants to get back at him. Problem is, in "give a hug" scenario, option to notify Mel isn't even shown, unlike with "Kiss" and "Show tits" routes.

Anyone by chance managed to get this to fire (and possibly even having a save after it)? I also could not get this to trigger up until now - even the "proper hug" follow up question seems to come up sometimes and sometimes not and I cant quite find out what the triggers here are.
I guess that saying no to proper hug (which makes Ben find out its the MC he is talking to) would be a plausible way to go, but as for Bangkiller this then also ends up in a kiss in my runs ...

Thanks! I thought the same, but i tried multiple variations - sending pics without telling Mel, sending pics with telling Mel, Bens stats were at various levels (of course not all possible variations i guess) - that "it should be a proper hug" fork seems not to come up again for me :/
That stat+flag system is awesome per se, but its also quite confusing in the results

Same here. I honestly think it's some sort of bug - "notify" option present for two other more risqué options, but not for a simple "hug me".

An "alpha 2" was posted to higher tier subscribers that iirc is about two-thirds of the way to the complete chapter according to the dev.

Thus begins the "need a hero" avalanche followed by the criticism that the update is so scanty coming from the folks who skipped over the word "alpha" in the posted update.

If it shows up here, it will when it does. It's still not a complete ch3, so probably best to just wait it out a couple more weeks or so. The "phone hack" app may or may not even be in the alpha 2 . . . it's definitely a work in progress even from the perspective of the upcoming chapter.

just a guess: unity probably allows phone games to actually feel like the player is actually using a phone. when renpy is used instead of unity, phone games feel more like a VN rather than feel like an actual phone interface.

one issue with phone games in unity though is that it doesn't have the easy rollback function of renpy games. so you better have saved just before making a decision because there is no back button. this leads to lots of saves if the player wants to replay certain sections w/ a different decision.
