Was thinking this'd be a Tower Defense game where you play an overlord or something defending yourself against heroes, setting up defenses to your castle, and watching your minions fuck the spoils of war while claiming some booty for yourself.

Not going to argue with the point here, but if its like that sexy bar game, once the translation is done, then it won't need to be re-translated. So its only unplayable the first time through.
After playing a Gacha Tower Defense game, this has peaked my interests. And then I saw that "MLT" tag.
I think you're supposed to buy the upgrade that allows you to start the map with more points. But yeah, it's become tedious.
And for the people whining about it being MTL, honestly I'm not playing this for the plot and hentai dialogue is more or less the same depending on the hentai genre; however it is nice knowing what items you need to complete which quests, as well as what the skills and equipment does. Not a fan of MTL at all, but hey, being able to play the game isn't so bad. Also a pity that the game seems to drag and want you to grind because jesus fuck the amount of enemies per level

Straight up, Auto-MTL should not count as translated.
Most normal MTL are already atrocious but this is completely unplayable with the delay and illegible instructions.
At this point I've blocked the program's internet access and play it with a dictionary and my measly Japanese skills. Takes a while, but at least I have a chance at deciphering the important parts.
The game itself isn't even bad, I like the idea behind it.

Not sure what you mean, I've got literally no problems with the game, outside of the atrocious interface controls, which has nothing to do with the translation. And while there's obviously lots of parts where the sentences are strange, I haven't seen anything where I've got no idea what's going on or what I have to do.
I'm glad these MTLs exist because real translations are a lot of work and the fact is that most of these games would never get translated by hand.

I doubt the devs even played this game before releasing it.
It is literally impossible to play without cheats due to the impossible difficulty.

I think that if you click through (and wait) for every single line of text to translate, it saves it all in your translation folder and all you have to do is post that folder for everyone else to skip the wait (i can't confirm this though).
But no one is ever going to do that since it takes sooo much time to accomplish. (i tried on a previous game... but gave up after just 15 minutes).
You start off the first mission with points... then you're expected to work with 230.... with the amount each warrior costs... like really

Kind of "millenium war aegis" game, which I was fan of, this one seems to have less work put into sadly
