Progress Report: 31/10 - 25

Hello everyone and Happy Halloween!

Really brief progress report today as most of the week was eaten up by the Scenario stretching beyond the weekend, as per usual. Ivy's project at least has gotten its final check, meaning it is now time for me to render out a really low-quality version of it over the course of a few days in order to be able to stitch it together and send to voice acting recording. Once that's underway, I'll set to rendering it out properly at higher quality, which will take significantly longer, so that'll happen over the course of what I imagine will be a week or two at least - these two processes working in tandem rather than one after another is something I believe will save time, which is why I'm doing it this way. Estimated release for the project is still in November, but we'll see how the timing on things work out (and whether the renders cooperate). Either way it's underway and I can't wait to sit down and edit it all together so I can finally release the whole darn thing. It's going to be a costly venture, but I am of the mind that it's my best work yet, so hopefully folks will enjoy it.

Progress Report: 07/11 - 25

Hello everyone and welcome to a very brief progress report!

Ivy's project has been rendered out at a very low quality setting and sent to the final VA for work. While he works at it, I'll be rendering out the rest of the project in higher quality over multiple nights, and when I can finally sit down to edit it all together depends on when I get the renders sorted and get the VA the material in question. Barring a meteor hitting my house (or the VA's), the release of the Ivy project this November is looking effectively guaranteed.

EDI's comic also got a bunch of pages added to it this Tuesday. It's shaping up really nicely, and I am looking forward to showing it off to you all.

I've also looked into a program called Twine, which is a simple storytelling program that enables you to create, effectively, Choose Your Own Adventure games in writing and with images. It necessitates the dusting off of my old HTML understanding (last entertained, I believe, in high school some 20+ years ago) but I have managed to figure out how to set up a very basic choice-system for what I plan to be a kind of "comic game" in the future. The idea is that I'll be making a comic much in the same way that I've done before, but where the reader can choose a series of branching paths by selecting some choices that the protagonist makes with different outcomes and endings to the whole ordeal.

Something for the future, no doubt, as I'd like to finish the current Mass Effect comic first, but maybe something people would be interested in. My comics have been surprisingly popular, which warms an old writer's heart, so I've been looking to build more on that somehow and think this might be one avenue to explore.

Some changes have occurred:
Anna (Tekken) - model replaced with a newer one
Angela (Marvel Rivals) - model added
Eva (Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater) - model added
Tachy (Stellar Blade) - model added
Yoruichi (Bleach) - model replaced with a newer one

And that's it for this week, I believe. Writing this at 01.30 in the night because it's been a stressful day and I forgot about writing the darn report and remembered only when I went to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, so making sure to post it so I don't mess up further. Thank you, everyone, as always for your support and kind words. I best crawl back into bed, but I'll be back Saturday to get the loop for the Monday sorted. The Less Popular Ladies vote is in full swing over on the Discord for the eligible tiers, and it's looking like a close one - going to be interesting seeing who comes out on top.

Take care of yourselves out there, as well as each other!
