Progress Report: 21/11 - 25

Hello folks and welcome to a very brief progress report!

EDI comic has had the mid-stage of the mid-stage finalized this Tuesday, with work beginning on the second-mid stage. It'll make sense in the end, trust me. Progress is steady, at any rate.

Ivy project has also gotten some good work done on it. I've opted to utilize the low quality sample render that I sent the way of VOID to do his lizardman voice acting around as a template for the full project, so I've managed to sit the full day today doing sound editing, and will then slot in the full, high quality renders when sounds are done. All it's missing now, in essence, is the lizardman voices and the dreaded slaps and squishes, and for the HQ renders to finish (Scene 2 was resolved last night, with each taking roughly one full night each to render) as well as some minor polish perhaps, and then it'll be done. Next Thursday I should have the time to sit down and get the slaps and squishes edited in, and if I get the VA work before the end of the month, the release of the Ivy project will occur either on the 29th or the 30th of November, so help me gods. I've poked VOID about approximations and will keep you all posted - VAs at the end of the day have their own schedules and queues, so when we hire them us animators have to be understanding on that front.

It's been a long time coming, and while I can see some flaws rather plainly now in editing, I still think it looks good enough to warrant the inclusion of those scenes. The project contains stuff I've never featured before in my work and is technically the highest effort I've put into anything I've made, so hopefully, even with its issues, folks will enjoy it when it's finally in their hands.

Tifa's Scenario is also in the works, with the weekend and possibly Monday/Tuesday being utilized for it. I'm not entirely sure how long it'll demand of me since I'm yet to get to Scene 2 proper, but my plans shouldn't be too brutal on the system - mine or the rig's - so it shouldn't be terribly delayed. Estimated release sometime in the middle of next week, in that sense.

Gallery changes this week:
Jun Kazama (Tekken) - removed owing to massive model issues.

Thank you, folks, as always, for your support and kind words. I best crawl off and get some tacos before they go cold, with a shower to follow, so that I may recharge my batteries before the weekend's work. Hope you're all doing well out there, and please take care of yourselves, as well as each other!
