i thought this was an extremely good update. one of the few NTS games going right now that isn't afraid of having things ACTUALLY HAPPEN in his game. an NTS game with NTS in it... what a fucking revelation!!!

nice work dev/devs, really good stuff.

here's a gentle criticism, intended to be constructive: i've heard multiple devs talk about how much effort group scenes are. and this chapter had a lot of group scenes in it. and i must say... they weren't the best part at all! group scenes take a ton of effort and rarely pay off the way devs are hoping. i'm thinking of the volleyball game as an example here. my suggestion is to consider during the writing outline phase, "how much effort am i going to have to sink into this? is the scene really truly worth it?" and try to nudge the story into a direction that doesn't require so many ultra-high-effort scenes.

i understand group scenes are important for establishing a group dynamic and to have the characters meet, so some of this is necessary, and i think abyss has earned the benefit of the doubt. this is not a slam, just a gentle "hey, maybe consider this" tip from someone who deals with scope creep/risk-reward calculations in a development context professionally

That's true, but also... even though the volleyball scene might not get much appreciation, I was incredibly proud of that scene even though it was a pain in the ass to make. I like challenging myself and paying attention to things like that. I also don't want to go the easy route out. I'm here to show what I can do and more, what we as a team can achieve compared to others.

EDIT: At the end of the day, when I create a scene: I don't think: Oh, that'll be good enough for the people who play the game. No, I think about it for myself: I want it to be good enough for me! I'm very critical of my own work, but I have to be in order to keep improving

We are not merging. They are both seperate stories. Both games take place in different cities. We just have a few cameo appearance and the possibility of doing some scenes together in the future. But both games will go their seperate ways with seperate plots.

As good as that last scene was I feel like the dev should have turned it into a friendly competition to see who lasts longer after MC joined. Have Liam finish in the sand or in her mouth and then Red moves to MC too. The redhead could have jumped on his face while his GF rides him and then he finishes them both off one more time and then he cums. Not a complaint though...9/10 scene already. Yeah, you can use Live2D or Spine. I believe our animator uses Spine2D

What moral value do these characters have? Are we supposed to believe Alice is an innocent girlfriend? A loyal girlfriend? aiding corruption has already lowered Alice's value, and even the protagonist doesn't seem like a boyfriend whose relationship comes first; rather, they seem like a couple for others to play with.

If the goal is to convey to players that Alice is a girl whose first time with another person will be special, she should have been a character who had more control over her decisions,... slut, whore, drugs, What special moment can a girl have when she is already used as a toy?

Maybe the creator is thinking of a special moment for Alice like this girl... having sex with 583 people in 6 hours and her boyfriend told her to enjoy it, love.

Given this girl is a real person, and part of a wave in the culture, it is only easier to understand that fiction features such personalities and social behaviour. While I share your questioning of such phenomena, I am not sure what you mean abt the dev. If he's suggesting these questions on purpose then he's succeeded in holding up a mirror not unlike yourre doing, if not he's a creature of his time and hardly to blame for the zeitgeist.
