One more question ,do you have like a release timeline in mind? Like you plan to release updates like every six months ( just putting a number out there) or is it more once it's ready it will be released?
Not to put any pressure on you or anything personally I'd rather it be ready and done right rather than rushed , just more curious of how often we will see new content

I'm hearing they ultimately (already) have an established protocol which includes the whole oops-spank-me, -I've-been-a-naughty-slut! routine as part of the "consensual" game so that Luke's not a "cuck" even if Alice is active outside the basic encouragement-hotwifing play. This does allow more range to the play and allows Alice more agency. And it precludes (for better or worse) more than NTR and humiliation of Luke; there's for Alic also no rape/non-consensual stuff and limits her humiliation and submission.
Psychology is a curious thing! I get how all this should technically disprove any NTR claims and avoid a NATO strike, LOL?, but... I mean, the thing at the core of being triggered by cuckoldry is there. I suppose part of the inception of NTS/hotwifing is to allow the fetishization of the same jealousy triggers within a comfortable/safe boundary(?)
I do think devs done a good job not being overyl careful, as, beyond explicit discussion, the monologues do inform some jealousy-induced inner conflict and some fear of losing each other. (This is good for realism but also for people not usually into happy relationships in their adult stories, like NTR-fans) Nonetheless, I found myself wondering if there wasn't room for a bit more than a simple argument by Sophie or a surprised discovery for Alice and Luke to be convinced/discover they enjoy the stuff (that would have served a more believable progression). After all, I do agree that:
and there's more ways than mere discussion to establish the protocol.
Alice does seem to test her boundaries (Vi does this more often, I think) while Luke gets/was getting straightforward seduced and is grateful for the retroactive license, so it's not like it's completely been a simple boring, immersion-breaking discussion. However, couples do also get hurt, transgress, compromise, fight etc. as part of their development. These are negotiation-processes as much as simple discussion and I wouldn't have minded seeing some.

IDK, maybe the update has explored these scenarios some already (can't wait either way). One thing FO' SHO', this all symptoms of simping for the game rather than being irritated by anything; she so fine you can't help but keep thinking what other tasty positions there are to take her, or how many spicy colours and oily dressings the suit

I am getting all these games mixed up, art so similar, stories quite similar, anyone else?
this game choosing to not just ape My New Girlfriend's art and animation style, but also choosing to have the characters crossover... feels like a big mistake to me. blurring the lines between games won't benefit either game, imo.
that said i think this game is pretty good. it's the superior of the two, but is doomed to live in MNG's shadow

It can start so (though not the main LIs), but as soon as you're a bit into it it becomes quite distinct. Most of the characters have a developed... errm... character by now. (Edit: oh personality!) The only allowance for confusion I'd... allow you would be the redhead corruptresses coz they both voluptuouts, boobaliscious redheads on similar tropes (and if ya'll mess with them I will BLOW DA ROOF!)
otherwise there's more variety in these visuals than many of the dime-a-dozen DAZ assets, nay-yeah no?

I do find with this and my new girlfriend I have to pause for a moment and remember there story's before I post on either of them as in that aspect I blur them together almost .... But not with the love interests ... I suppose the main difference for me with shadows of ambition is there is also the story of the drug your looking into so that helps me separate the two
Now I'm not saying either are a copy of each other both good games and want to see how they progress but I think there enough of a difference between the two that it's not just the same game with slight differences
Honestly I'm just hoping with the two of them it's not a strong start then ... Your getting cucked .. your getting cucked ... Everyone's getting cucked haha or that it goes down the forced NTR route personally I'd like to see something different but time will tell

(Funnily I've yesterday confused the series I'm watching alone with the one I'm watching with somebody and I was asking how something made sense when given what happened in the previous episode, only was from the other series. and all they had in common was they detective stuff). And they are in a similar genre and art-style and you are probably doing two things

Couldn't agree more. What allows me to enjoy NTS is the tension of pushing the limits as far as they'll go without tearing, that is, no qualms about "oops moments", as long as the safe boundary is there, meaning a strong and constantly fuelled relationship between MC and FMC.
Definitely prefer a game that doesn't keep me worried that something might go wrong. Lust for adventure and plain lust are good motives, but if the menu includes emotional attachment to another guy, I'll go look elsewhere...
This bit got me a bit more worried. Punishment kink, don't think I have it... Sounds like a "justified" form of bullying - unless it's a "playful punishment" and comes out as another form of teasing. If it's an excuse to allow for actual intended humiliation/ego bashing that normally goes with NTR, but framed within an NTS story, it might be pushing it beyond my comfort zone. I don't enjoy purposefully inflicted pain, regardless of context. Happy relationships through and through. Having said that, the "first fight" idea does sound cool as a way to push things further - at least it's a good alternative to "meek acceptance" or the "silently acknowledging it" horny tropes.

My only concern about the punishment kink is that's the FMC will get so into it that she then starts to push the boundaries of what is acceptable then it snow balls .... But from what I've seen/heard from the Devs I don't think that will be an issue but you just never know haha

This is a really good reason to hold off during early development... Should go back to Skyrim and Loverslab for a while.
Edit: quick post came off differently than I intended, what I mean is that I prefer waiting to enjoy the new content more, especially if it's going in the right direction. Other than being an actual tester, which I've done a number of times and don't mind doing at all, but then you're not just playing for your own enjoyment. I do like giving feedback.
