Just a suggestion for the dev, try making the text box fully transparent by default now since you added text shadows. Its much more aesthetically appealing and doesn't obscure the scenes
I did, but it doesn’t replace your settings. If you’ve played it before, you’ll have to turn it off manually. For new players, it’s off by default

Thank you. Nearly 3 months for half a chapter lol, this game is never gettin' done at this pace. I can tell a milking scheme when I see one.

3 months for a whole chapter. Although it was named 'chapter 4.5' it didn't add any new content, just reworked old stuff, and that update only took 3-4 weeks after the release of chapter 4. Also, chapter 5 added double the amount of words compared to what chapter 4 added. 3-4 months between updates which each one so far being bigger than the last is a pretty damn good pace compared to other porn VNs on the rise recently. Can't expect Abyss to keep making each update bigger, but even if every update going forward was 80-90% the size of the chapter 5, it's still more than most.
Also, 110k words + art and coding in 3 months is crazy. Just in the amount of text alone, that's comparable to some online writers who make thousands of dollars a month off patreon lol
Besides that, I really can't say much besides that Abyss is one of the better devs around when it comes to news and transparency(with their frequent dev updates and all), and there are quite a lot of devs performing actual milking schemes on this site that deserve your hostility much more.

My issue with devs is where trying to "remaster" their game before complete it , finish it first and then fix spoiled add better resolutions and upload again ,but no their point is to milk their patrons not to refine the game. Anyway misused wattage power is games that begin from scratch cause of milking or whining players mi have see games killed by players cause always asking for changes and devs instead of competing return to fix those and in the end lost maaaany patrons. As for this update will see when get compressed
