I've seen Skyrim modders "turn professional" and refuse to publish more sex animations until they reach a threshold of monetary support (like streamers with their goals). Just as I've seen patrons demanding regular content for their support. Both are wrong and unhealthy, IMHO. There are better ways to engage and keep both the creator and the community engaged, motivated and having fun.

I'm not white-knighting, just frustrated because I can see where this is going. Fucking waste.

Similar problem with Early Access games on steam frankly. And with preorders. But this dev (of Shadows of Ambition) does a good job and it's weird to put out this critique in the thread of this game, there are way better game threads for that.

I was actually reacting to criticism directed at the dev, didn't want to sound too whiteknightish and ended up sharing my concern about the business model, which was probably out of place. I tend to be uncomfortable with toxicity and fear it may have consequences, likely was worried for nothing, Abyss gave a better reply. And you're right, I just don't delete my own posts but won't mind if it goes down in a thread sweep, which is where this whole discussion belongs :p

Bob69 Just want to give a heads up, of the surviving Windows links, the pixeldrain link file states 305Mb vs the 291Mb on the others

MiB vs MB. Thats normal. Only Pixeldrain displays the "correct value". (The other do too at least the number is correct)
The other hoster are showing MiB (Mebibyte, as does Windows), but probably with different rounding's, and instead of using the correct MiB they just slap MB on it ;) (As I do in the post too, so I don't get questions about the "MiB" all the time lol.)

Btw if you want to test that. Start the download for 2 "different" sized files. Pixeldrain + 1 and your browser will show the same size.

Eh, ignore em. it's a legit way to show love to the dev. it's good that they're supporting the dev, devs need love. anyone seeing his comment understands that it's opinion based, and i'm sure OP does too.
