That's a very good question, but I'm sure it didn't start with this game. I also think it's beyond the scope of what this thread's discussions supports. You should make a new thread in the General Discussions board to have a good debate about this.

Interesting update. Luke doubts himself a lot, in my opinion, it can't go on like this for long, so he needs to either talk to his girlfriend or reflect and decide what he wants. As I understand it, he will become more confident as the story progresses, right?
There are still questions about the whole business with the company, Olivia and Jacob... What role will they play in history? A dramatic confrontation? How will this affect the main character? As far as I can tell, so far, it both facilitates and complicates the development of key characters.

I wanted to give another perspective on things. It's usually the male character who pushes his girlfriend into the whole "sharing" scenario, so I tried telling it from the girlfriend's perspective, with Luke obviously being on board with it, because he loves her and wants to support her. I don't think it's something you're immediately on board with and you'll have some feelings of jealousy and envy, no matter what you tell yourself. I try to portray him as a very confident guy to begin with, but with inner doubts and turmoil, especially when it comes to sharing, but he's slowly becoming more and more open to it and will be expanded upon next update.

Regarding Oogle Corp and the overal plot, I can't tell you anything about that, as it would spoil the game. But it will facilitate the growth and development of key characters. Will it make things a bit more complicated? Sure, but that's the fun part!

Also, if everything goes well. There will be an update next week with a chapter 1 rework, fixing some consistency issues in renders swiver , QOL features such as a replay mode, new UI, new transitions and chapter intros, (I tried getting an image gallery in, but it's a lot more work than I originally thought and all the images are available in the images folder anyway).
+ An additional backstory of Sophie as extra content.

The art is pretty hot, all the models are great, interesting personalities (all love teasing but they aren't a copy of each other) and stuff, the whole Nyct X and Ooglecorp trama definitely enhances the game and gives a reason to look forward. Downside is that it is a Kinetic Novel, the lack of options and branching seriously limit the "fun" in it.

Anyway, looking forward to the next update to see where this goes. Also, which kind of AI art it is? I have seen a bunch of games lately with really hot 2D AI art.

Hey! Thanks for the review. I know that it being a kinetic novel can be a turn off for people and I apologize for that. With my full-time job, I only have a couple of hours to work on the game. Adding branching storylines and choices that actually change the story, which should be the purpose of them, would require a lot more time and planning for every update. It increases the workload by quite a bit and with the amount of time I can spend on working on this game... it would take me 4-5 months per update... which for the people supporting me on Patreon or who are just interested in the game, would be just too long of a wait. I don't want people to wait too long between updates, so this is the best I can do at the moment.
