Sure, as a SIDE character she's paced fine, but the payoff doesn't land very well for characters that aren't focused on in the NTR genre BECAUSE things are moving too quickly and we don't necessarily get enough time to know the character better and develop a connection with them to truly appreciate the NTR aspect of it. It's paced fine for a quick and cheap sex scene. It's just an excuse to add sex scenes for people while the real slow burn for the main girl is happening, which is my main gripe with having side characters in NTR games in general and this game is adding new side characters every update, like Rose in this latest one. I wouldn't mind it so much if they used the side characters sparingly for certain plot reasons, like keeping MC away from Camilla and Jason temporarily or whatever, but instead they get whole scenes.
I definitely wouldn't mind if Ruth and Sarah(Sarati) had their own game that fully explored their story because they have really nice models. However, I'd rather they take a massive backseat along with the other side girls during this plot.
I can definitely agree that Camilla was horribly paced in this update. The fact that there was nothing that happened off screen when Fred had his first nightmare was mind boggling to me, because she was WITH Jason to prepare stuff for the party, meanwhile Fred is MIA for 10 hours in a nightmare and we get NO progression with Camilla and Jason in that time? It was a wasted opportunity that was instead replaced with a dream sequence that only serves to plant a seed in Fred's mind about his true nature. Using scenes with his mom which has one of the worst models no less. It was frustrating for me.
I personally enjoy the cheating route most, as it's my favorite type of NTR. I'm not AS keen with the cuckold route but I can still enjoy that sort of thing nonetheless. Though this update was the slowest of slow burns in that regard though, which is massively disappointing.
[Edit: Oh and I forgot the addition of the store owners Vann and I forget the other ones name. Even though they existed as regular shop NPC's initially, Vann gets a whole ass scene too, further taking up time that could be used to progress Camilla. They have really great character models too, but again, I'd appreciate it more if they just had their own game to tell their storylines.]

You can skip dialogue quickly by holding down Shift for RPGM games. Though it can be a bit buggy sometimes because RPGM isn't quite the best engine for VN's.

Yeah, I mentioned that in a later post that having 3 separate routes being worked on one after the other is another reason why pacing feels slow. He puts out a reasonable amount of content each update. Even though I feel the Camilla progression in this update was mind numbingly bad, I wouldn't mind it as much if I knew that every 2 months I'd get an update to that plot line. But instead it's 6 months.
Too many side characters, too many routes, too little focus on the one aspect of the story that really matters.

3 different routes. 12 different side characters. Hours of monotonous filler gameplay. Any one of these things can cause slow pacing, and this game has all three. Shame, because the renders are good.

I want to like this game but it's got way too much filler for my linking. Hopefully someone translates all of this to Ren'py at some point.

Absolutely, the two engines serve different purposes, and RPGM is made for *drum roll* RPG games, this isn't an RPG game this is a visual novel/sandbox game. The only way this game can be enhanced is by a straight-up renpy remake, RPGM is trash for making these sorts of games. it makes for a terrible experience especially for playing a game that's still in development.

I think one of the main appeals of working in RPGM is that you don't necessarily need to learn any sort of coding to get started. It's very beginner friendly, whereas in Ren'py, you do need to learn some basic python programming. Coding can help with RPGM as well, but it isn't needed.

Blackmail - Forcing someone to do what you want by threatening them with a consequence they don't want to face. Basically, ruining the relationship between Fred and Camillia by exposing her shadier activities to Fred.
Cheating - Camilla willingly goes behind Fred's back to fuck around with Jason.
Cuckold - Jason is slowly opening Camilla up to being more sexual with him and Fred will realize that he actually enjoys seeing it happen rather than get upset and end the relationship over it.

The Ruth & Melissa quest is still bugged as hell.
I talk to Ruth outside the school. Then with Melissa in the canteen as per request. She sends me back to Ruth instead!
I talk with Ruth by the bus stop and she sends me to Melissa again! In consequence, I can't do her photo shoot quest, because Ruth becomes blocked.

This update is endlessly long and annoying, useless dialogues, and awfully long mini game giving the filling to not having done anything.
