Don't make sense of it, it went to shit the blackmail Path with the appearance of that entity.
That entity is new to that scene though right? So like, we don't even know where the story goes from there. I like the idea of a Queen of Queen of Spades that is encouraging the "corruption" of others and being a sort of leader for the lower ranking gang members. It's why I was asking about Reina to begin with, since I do sort of feel like she came out of nowhere.
I'll say this: making sense of this game isn't the easiest at times. Even playing chapters 1-4 on the unofficial remake, since I can't seem to find a working RPGM link, feels like it's missing a lot of context. Though it did help with the new chapters, just not as much as I'd hoped.
The fact that it's a Ren'Py game that is attempting at playing like an RPGM game I think really hurts the product. Because it's not always immediately clear WHEN something is happening relative to other scenes, since jumping to a different PoV also tends to jump around in time. I don't know if structuring the game more like other Ren'Py games would make it any clearer, but I don't think it would hurt either.
Just feels like this game has a lot of potential that has been lost in the shuffle from RPGM to Ren'Py. Choices don't really seem to matter all that much outside of "Cheating, Cuckhold, or Blackmail." I still don't know how exposing Jessica alters the story, order of visiting locations doesn't change anything from what I can tell, you can't really explore buildings during "freeroam" to progress / unveil corruption, etc. So why waste time setting those up if we're going to be put on rails anyway?
