I haven’t played the cheating path really enjoy the cuck path though. I just find it more romantic when the partners involve each other in their fantasies. With the cheating path it comes to a point like why is she still with Fred if she keeps fucking Jason why not just leave and be with him? While at the same time Fred has to be pretty oblivious and illogical not to realize what’s going on around him… that being said love the character designs and plot can’t wait for the cuck path to continue it’s been so long.
That's part of why I hated the recent turns in the cheating path (previously the best path). Cheating scenario makes sense if he's giving her everything else she needs, ie she loves him & vice versa but is addicted to the dick on the side. So this previously worked well. But then Dev started injecting all the "love" bullshit with other dude which totally deflated the dynamic. The other parts that went downhill were #1 the
HUGE drop in quality on the animations/interactions in sex scenes from the height of chapter 5 - which made me reevaluate this game from a 2 to a 4 and #2. The snooping elements totally fell off. Chapter 4's trying to get into her phone, Chapter 5 where you had access to a few sites at any time, which felt like the user had control over it. There's tiny half-assed elements of it since, but it isn't set up for any electricity in dynamic).
