The path to the Gangs’ hometurf is blocked by some of their guys.

I tried everyting several times, paying/fighting/seduce but they wont leave so i'm stuck without lockpicks.

Are you at war with them? Can't you also order lockpicks online?

No, i hadnt created a faction yet, couldnt order online yet either. Restarted and now everything works fine so far.

Not a lot of new things to explore this update it seems like. I like going out with npcs and the thrresome stuff but I didn't see much else. I still have a really hard time making any money after forming a gang unless I'm doing constant heists. Not sure what to do about that. Or if I'm supposed to wait longer to create one.
Eh, idk. Just setting up a few thieves can already make you a lot passively. I’m not sure any of the gang positions really need any changes.

Yep, it's a bug. Resolving that event changes the wrong variable. I'll fix it, thanks.

Don't thieves just find random junk like rings and stuff? Are those shipments worth much? I always thought the only money I was making was from coin washers and racketeering

They can find other stuff too, like moonshine and electronic parts. The shipments are not worth much IMO except if you can trade them to the airstrip. Both for dirty money and a crypto value boost

Dev seems to engage with feedback here, so figured I could leave some after a play through. First of, this is a excellent little mob boss management game with a pron game vibe. That said not sure exactly how I would go to improve the porn part in a way that's not a huge undertaking, so I'll mostly mention the money side and QoL. In no particular order:
- That races in the outskirts remaining as a sizable clean money income source well into the midgame feel a bit odd. As it's not very "crimey". But the influx of clean money was real nice. So maybe nerf a bit and add some other ways of getting early income.
- Would be nice if we could start the "pimp" path a bit before getting the gang, maybe be able to control a girl ourself without a gang or something.
- That said I'm not sure the ROI on the girls is really worth it atm. Take the brothel; Got 30 girls there now of middling "stat" and making about 5k a day. Lets say 10k up front for each girl and something like 200k in upgrades. That's a 500k investment taking 3 - 4 months to pay itself back. IRL that would be fantastic, but I don't think my play through even lasted that long.
- Some more ways of cleaning dirty money is very much needed. More business fronts etc.
- Getting guns are super expensive or heavy RNG, making the gunshipments not worth it except if you can get them of the web.
- With the gun "issue" in mind, some more ways of target our gang towards stuff would be nice. Ask our thief's to find x, same way you can ask boosters look for cars. That way getting guns and silver rings might be viable. I swear I found more gold bars then silver rings... Hooks to look for farmers and girls (or maybe other girls to look for more girls). Some way to have our gang look for and exploit blackmail.
- More things available through blackmail. Why can I only get money. Would make sense to use the blackmail to say, have girl start walking for us or getting the police/banker helpings.
- Priority for car mechanics and loaders are fine, I guess. But what would really be nice would be setting a target amount. Ask the loaders to always have x numbers of y shipments ready and not make more. That way I don't have them use up last rings for stolen goods or every roid. Same for mechanics, except inverted. If I can say something like dissemble any car, but always keep x number of y cars around.

You can just sell everything to the pawnshop too.

Fair. That's because of reward scaling. I made it that way so there's a reason to keep using the "basic" ways of making profit. I’ll lower them once there are more alternatives for early-game income.

Thaaats fair too. I'll tweak them a bit.

That's cuz i want to add an arms dealing stuff later and don't want weapons to be too common.

Wouldn't that make everything too easy, no? And maybe even annoying to micromanage. Well, except for the suggestion about hooks - that one i’ll implement.

In the newest version (which is already out, yeah), you actually can tell your debtors to do some stuff for you if they have specific jobs. But i'm still planning to add more to that.

Sure, that's totally reasonable. It'll require some tinkering but i'll add it.

Dunno about anything pimp-related early on, but i'll think about it, and adding more ways to clean money is just a matter of time. Thanks a lot for your feedback!

I'll try with more thieves. The issue I've had was that gang payments are always a lot higher than they bring in. Even a small gang was several thousand per day. So making a gang is just a big expense and money drain and generally not worth it. I was just lockpicking safes to get around that just to cover the cost of gang members, but for some reason that was harder this last run I did. I kept getting caught before I opened the safe, or a safe wouldn't spawn. Maybe there are better ways to make money than the things I've tried. Races were great.

The only offset for that is using all the dirty money for crypto, but it takes a while to get enough crypto. And working on a heist asap. Selling crashes a coin and then it's worthless. So I almost have to get crypto up early, then get the swimming pool asap so I payments don't just continually go up. Maybe I need to mine more different coins? I was mostly only doing cvc and ctc. But you crash the price of those, and the others aren't worth as much. It's like the system is designed to sell a lot at once, but if you do the price bottoms out and the price never came back up after I did that. Or it takes so long to recover that I stopped playing by then. Even with the landing strip jobs, it didn't seem to do much.

I think last time I tried selling 1 coin per day and that seemed to work OK. But it's really slow obviously.

It's like we've been playing completely different games?

My gang didn't turn a profit day one, but I was only maybe 1k in the red. Got a couple of cleaners and the cleaning building up and was then in the green most days going forward.

But couldn't really say what I did much more differently than you

So usually I start out with a damper a coin washer and a racketeer. And then grow from there. I usually end up with more thugs than thieves because they're much more common. Then I get a right hand and chauffeur. I don't know what else. Maybe if I start with a smaller gang.

Next update still following the roadmap? Or anything new to look forward to? I'd love some new activities to do, new random events, or gigs, etc. New heist with more player interaction would be fun. I like the setup and distraction for the cartel one, I'd like more stuff like that and maybe even more involved.

Yeah, the next update is still following the roadmap. I want to finish everything that applies across the whole game first - otherwise it’s going to be really monotonous to implement later.

Nope, not possible. You can find gold bars as a random drop from safes during burglaries, or from random event at the gym.

How do you get the captivity scenes as well as the ones with the individual gang leaders like slick trick and volkov etc?

I know for one of them you have to try to take them over and lose. I think only street gang? The other scene is in the gig.

Also how the hell did you manage that wall of broken

So I haven't played since the first release, it was fun. But i was wondering if there is going be like storylines and real characters or if it is just intended to be a crime simulator.

It's just intended to be a crime sim, yeah. There'll be some sort of game-ending sequence, but that's about it.
There seem to not be a lot of cosmetic items...
More of them unlock as you progress.

Not yet. I’ll add it in the next update - sorry about that, i should've thought of it earlier...
