Have you used the quick start? I haven't changed anything about the hackers themselves, but i'll double-check if the quick start interferes with their unlock. I might've overlooked that.
Hmmmright, i'll change the hint for the vent stuff and add a skip option for the minigame. The alternate route does have a scene, though it’s not a very unique one.
When you said you were doing a casino heist I was expecting like, sleep with the casino manager to get a key code, get caught by a couple guards and have to fight/seduce your way out while your gang makes off with the loot, etc.
I also thought th casino was going to reward way more than it did. And be a longer process. It seemed like something that would be more complicated and rewarding by nature. But maybe you're planning to do that with a bank heist?
The cash grab mini game I think is only hard because of the speed of it. Though I'm not crazy about timed triggers anyway, there was another game I played where the scenes would give you additional prompts if you waited long enough and I always thought that was poor design. The truck robbery still netted me way more than everything else it seemed.
I didn't use quick start. It was just normal game. I handed in the aphrodisiac and they sent me off to the mafia, but there was no additional dialogue with the mafia.
What is the hint for the vent? It just said I need to find something to open it.
I did like the fact random groping that happens, that's a cool feature. It's like the random limo etc events that happen in parts of the city. I think adding more randomness in encounters like that makes it more fun. I still have issues funding my gang after I get a certain size, but it seems like no one else has that problem. I ended up making way way more money before making the gang so I was able to basically buy the club right away, which made a pretty big difference.
I noticed that if I have I lockpick, and it gives me a prompt to leave, it takes one energy. But if the prompt says I need to run, it takes all my energy. On the other hand, getting caught will only take 2. So if I have to run it's often better to just get caught.
