Yeah I don't hate Ella for it tbh cause I can understand it from her pov if there is some personal grudge I just disagree with her for doing so. But not enough to dislike her or anything for me tbh. But maybe my mind will change when I play the scene but from the sounds of things it doesn't sound like she said you can't be friends but just didn't want the MC to treat her respectfully when they had plans. There's definitely something personal and it's not as simple as what she told MC, there is some other reason. We know Ella liked MC at school, did Maddie make her back off or she said she liked him and Maddie snuck in before him. Maybe it's nothing to do with MC, she thinks Maddie slept with her boyfriend. Whatever it is, it will come out, she has her reasons and she's still my #1 (so I know I'm biased). But, like you said, there's a public photo of MC kissing a superstar and she doesn't care at all. It's only Maddie she has a problem with.

Maybe it's as simple as they were FWB and Ella is friends with the very insightful Sage:

I mean, it’s the fact that she’s not a LI, and she also made it very clear - she couldn’t care less about MC during that brief scene. So, her complete lack of interest only makes you want her even more, like a forbidden fruit. At least the way I see it .
Though personally I’m not on Anna team - she’s fine, but nothing outstanding (in my humble opinion).

Well, from what I remember, Maddie already got her share of criticism at the very beginning because of her forced lewds. Then came Lena with her "precious pussy" and now Ella. So my bet is on Mina - she’s got it coming

As for Jennie, honestly, I don’t even know what she could do to make people hate on her. She’s just too sweet and innocent. I’m counting on your creativity for that one - you’ve been pretty successful with other characters so far (in terms of giving them flaws I mean)

Though I think in that argument both MC and Sage had a point, I wouldn’t fully take either side (unless I totally mistook it for another argument, it’s late and I’m half asleep). And I’m saying this as someone who couldn’t stand Zoey at all, you know how I treat EXs - they should remain EXs

As for quotes - I liked this one even more from Sage:

Going back to Ella/Maddie.
As a player I can only judge based on info I have, and so far it doesn’t look nice to me - at least not the way Ella played this situation. It would’ve been a totally different experience if she’d explained what actually happened and then asked me to stop seeing Maddie, instead of just making it a demand. BUT - at the same time, I get it - we barely know each other, and it would’ve been weird if she suddenly started pouring her heart out.
That said, - I can definitely see your point, and I’m looking forward to seeing this mystery resolved.

I don't write Ella off, she is my solid #2 at the moment and one of the most stunning girls I've seen lately.

Her getting upset wasn't a big deal to me at all here and I thought it made sense with her beef. However what I did not like is how just ends things with the MC if you end the FWB relationship with Maddie. I understand she is upset would of liked if she explained a bit more what her issue is or just not end things if you end your FWB relationship with Maddie and "cool off". As I think once she cools off she would appreciate your honesty and ending things with Maddie as FWB.

I get why she ends things if you opt in for a relationship for Maddie. Tho I replayed the date and the way she says this .


I kind of overlooked this because at the time it was a solo path save. But this render kind of feels like a major red flag or ultimatum by Ella if we don't get to the bottom of her beef and help them figure things out. Don't get me wrong I love Ella she is my 2nd favorite next to Jennie. But if she is saying I can't hangout with Maddie as a friend she would have to go from 2nd favorite to content save. I would be fine in not bringing Maddie anywhere near her that is an acceptable compromise for me.

So now i'm really hoping the next thing once the MC gets his head together after the cliffhanger. We can start to figure out Ella's issue is and try to resolve it because I really do like Ella even on the solo path save but not enough to end a friendship with someone that has been there with the MC when he needed the support.

Y'all looking at it from MC perspective. What a bitch, telling me who I can be friends with. But Maddie is not a friend, she's a Friend with Benefits. That's a whole different animal. She's not even an ex that you had a breakup with, which makes it an even more difficult situation.

From Ella's perspective, I can understand why she wouldn't want her 'boyfriend' (she says 'if' they go forward) hanging around in 'private' with someone he's been fucking since high school. It wasn't a drunken one night stand, it was repeated over and over. Once Maddie 'sat on his dick' she can't be just a friend anymore. She's an "ex that you never broke up with".

And the people getting pissed at her for dumping him, he turned her down to go and see his fuck buddy (without telling her). It's perfectly understandable she's pissed and better to get out now before she starts to feel something more and get hurt even more.
