Funny, I never got pissed at Ella because I don't care about Madison at all, don't ask me why though. She just doesn't get my attention at all, personal preferences I guess.

hmmm you make some good points. Cause I didn't see her FWB relationship as only just that I saw her as a friend more and FWB second. But if you reverse that order then can't blame Ella or be mad at her at all for wanting you to end things and not even hang out with her cause she has issues with her. Because how I saw this in a different order it's why I was hoping for a way to resolve their issues so you can be friends with Maddie and nothing more while being Ella's boyfriend
hmmm I didn't even consider this I was too focused on her dislike for Maddie that I didn't consider Ella's pov from anything other than her dislike. But if look at it from her pov where she seems like an ex and not just something casual it makes all the more sense to me.
100% agree here I just wished it wasn't a end of path decision but rather she was just mad and need time to cool off assuming you end things with Maddie. Since the MC does tell Ella she just went to end things with Maddie. While if you don't end things it's a break up / end path decision
tbh I only like Maddie from a character standpoint since she was there for the MC when everyone left him after his accident. but as a girlfriend / someone to have sex with I don't care much yet.

Yeah once I read his post I realized I was focusing to much on her dislike for Maddie but not her pov . ( tho I still worry about being able to keep Maddie as a friend in some capacity on her path) While I was never on the dislike Ella train. In my post I even said how I wish it wasn't a end path decision if you end things with Maddie. After thinking even on that more I changed my mind. Cause there was a decent time jump between their first date and the seaside date , where the MC had plenty of time to do it earlier.

I didn’t really want to engage too deeply in this Ella debate, because usually I start overthinking and end up getting carried away, which can be annoying
But I’d like to share my perspective on this too, so bear with me.
From the way I see it, both sides have a point (Ella and MC aka player), which makes it feel like a dead end.
I can totally understand Ella’s perspective (as MiltonPowers explained), her reaction is totally justified, especially since right before her ultimatum MC admitted he had been hooking up with Maddie for years. But there’s also MC’s side, which some players have described - and in this case, MC’s side = mine, since I tend to immerse myself in story-driven games.
The way this story is written - Maddie was there for me, as MC, when I was in a bad place and needed her support and not only for sexual support, not only as FWB but also as a friend who genuinely cared, which is shown not even once during the game. Yes yes, we slept together a lot, but that doesn’t erase the fact that she was there for me, period. So, in my head, as MC, I wouldn’t cut off a person like that just because a potential girlfriend (who only recently came into the picture) demanded it. And I emphasize - demanded, not asked. In this case - it doesn't matter to me anymore - what a beautiful and amazing person she is.
It would basically sound like this (with Maddison):
"Sorry babe, you were useful for a while, but now fuck off - and if you ever need any help (not sexual, but any help), don’t call me either."
Yeah… no. In my head, that ain't happening.
And let’s say you do play along. - And what would you do if the relationship with Ella went south later? That’s life - things happen. Imagine a woman walks into your life, makes you cut ties with people who’ve supported you, but then suddenly leaves you with nothing. What's then?
Also, my personal opinion - and I know I’m entitled to it - is this: if a girl you’re dating - for whatever reason (it can be justified or not) doesn’t try to talk things through, but instead forces you cut off people you’ve known for years - then she’s not the right girl for me. Period. From whichever angle I look at it, this situation/relationship doesn’t look good or healthy, and that’s why Ella is cut from my personal canon girl/path competition in a game (at least for now, I do want to understand her), because no way whether it's IRL or a game I would do such a thing (ditch somebody on command). Though Ella is still amongst my favs here (right after Maddie) and is one of the most stunning woman I met lately in games, but so far that's it.
The only way I could see this being resolved is if all 3 of them sat down and talked it out, which ain't happening. That's why I called it a "dead end" at the beginning.

Kinda of my thoughts on it too just explained much better than me Which is why on the Solo path im hoping for a way for them to make up and keep Maddie as a friend cause yeah I can't see myself cutting Maddie out of my life completely , as I always saw Maddie as a friend first and FWB 2nd. So when I went back and saw that Ultimatum , I over looked I now have her as a 2nd main save but with the condition there is a way for them to make up or keep Maddie as a friend. The moment that becomes an issue on a solo save she becomes a content save. I can only go as far as no FWB and understanding why she would end things with us if we pick to see Maddie even if you end the FWB relationship since the MC had plenty of time to do it beforehand. Which is why im going to have 2 saves for Ella until it's pointless to have them. A Ella only save and one where I do pick Ella over Maddie for the seaside date to see if there is another way to drop the FWB relationship w/o Ella breaking up with us.

So she doesn't trust her "boyfriend" (IF they go forward). Means she shouldn't go forward at all. Because she plain and simple do not trust him. NOT a healthy basis for a relationship!

I mean to be fair it was literally a first date where they don't know each other that well yet. She only knew what she knew from high school but got the impression she never really talked to him much if at all back then but knew Maddie and had problems with her. So to me after thinking about it like that her pov does make sense since it's too early to have established a good level of trust for something like that especially when you know he has been sleeping with someone she hates for awhile.
I mean I do dislike it don't get me a wrong it is a red flag and hope we can get to the point where they get pas their issues and the MC can at least be friends with Maddie if on Ella's path. Cause tbh im not picking Ella over a friendship with Maddie cause she has been there for the MC for to long to not be friends with her because the MC is interested in a girl.
