I'm going to give this one a miss for the rest of the year. The updates take a long before getting released and there are far too many (NOT YET INCLUDED). I have nothing against the game persé, I just prefer doing as much of my grinding on one day, at least then I'll make some progress. Edit: That said I think this game isn't such case, it just takes a different approach to things. Though I AM still bothered by the MC not enslaving everyone he can get away with.

I think the twist with Ava should really be removed from the game, because it is revealed that you are not actually building a harem, but literally destroying yourself. Even if there is a later story development at some indeterminate point that may or may not be developed, so far, this is what is happening in the game.
So you can reveal new girls and so forth, but what is really happening is a continuation of your character's unknowing destruction of his own mind.
If you look at similar games with similar story ambitions, they often just end up getting stuck and abandoned. And in this case, it is taking a game which was essentially based on power fantasy and making the player helpless, because the player character doesn't even know he's dooming himself.

the dev had said it will never switch from a mind controlling game in a mind controlled game (it's a honest fear, after the last update). and i trust him.
having the MC find a way to turn the table with ava will be interesting, because for now, she had the absolute upper hand.

Bit of a false conclusion you arrived to here. Many games on this site gets abandoned regardless of their level of ambition in the story. Unless you can show a link between ambition and abandonment, this is nothing more than you speculating what might happen with little to no merit.

i agree but it should not be left up in air for the foreseeable future because it goes against the core appeal of the mind control kink which is that of a power fantasy, as a result people who love mind control porn games (aka ME) are not given much incentive to continue playing, it should have wraped up the switch in power a the end of the event (possibly with the implied threat of future attempts by eva & the mc having to do something about stoping her being able to do so), that way it would not deter players who love mind control (aka the main kink & draw of the game) from continuing with future versions
