Dear Bozzu, thank you for all the ports. Wherever I go, I see top-quality games like the old Midnight Paradise, which I beat, and now the new, next-gen, awesome sandbox Shattered Minds... You make high-quality ports. There used to be strong port titans (BE, DA, Estrada, the 66), but it seems like you'll soon become stronger at this rate, as they've started to lose ground, while your ports are coming out more often. If this continues, I'll be donating to you rather than them. BE, for example, gave up on porting version 0.22. The problem with Android is that those idiots at Google have blocked access to the android/data folder. Standard ports go to this folder, and updates to some games often conflict with older updates, forcing you to uninstall and reinstall them, which also deletes your saves, forcing you to start over. That's why I started looking for porters who saved to a different folder. My deepest gratitude for your good start. The quality of your ports is no worse than that of those who have been making them for years.

I appreciate your kind words. I try my best to thoroughly test my ports before releasing them. While small imperfections may sometimes slip through, they’re usually pretty insignificant.

Regarding the additional save location: it’s true that Google has restricted and made access to the Android/data directory more difficult. There is a workaround that I sometimes use, but you need to know exactly what to do in order to access that hidden directory. In most Android ports of Ren’Py games, the second save location is possible thanks to Wills747’s pre-patched Ren’Py SDK, which many porters (including me) use.

As for donations, I don’t have anything set up yet. Donations were, are, and never will be a priority—porting Ren’Py games is simply a hobby I recently got into. I’ve been doing it non-stop since the end of August this year, and I genuinely enjoy it. I play a lot of Ren’Py games myself, so I know how frustrating it is when you can’t play a game because no updated Android version exists.

Hey everyone!
V0.22 is done! On to V0.23!
V0.23 of Shattered Minds will center on Diana, the up-and-coming young police officer at the Spring Hill Police Department.
Because of her inexperience and naivety, the MC pulls her into a completely staged spy thriller, one that's full of suspense, clichés, and humor. Two extraordinary quests await you, and at the end, you can add her to your harem.
You will also be able to move her in with you at home, new scenes included!
New Quests
In MC's secret service (Diana– Quest 1)
The MC recruits Diana for a top-secret spy mission. He convinces her that only the two of them can save the city from the (totally-not-fictional) organization, D.O.O.M. (Department Of Omnipotent Masterminds).
Operation: Mindfall (Diana– Quest 2)
As she successfully follows every false clue the MC plants, Diana becomes more and more entangled in a web of lies and over-the-top movie plots. No longer able to think straight, she is led to a final showdown with the leader of D.O.O.M., Dr. Eclipse!

New harem member: Diana
Diana will become a regular member of your harem, with new scenes available at your home and at the police station. She can become pregnant and she can move into your house, which unlocks two additional scenes, one in the basement and one with Sarah in the garden.
Additionally, a new random open-world encounter between Diana and Claire will be unlocked at the police station, where you can find them talking to each other.
New Side Character: Barbara

With Barbara, a new side character and professor at Spring Hill College gets added to the game. She becomes available after you purchase the college.
She has been watching the recent changes with suspicion. Not just the changes to the institution itself, but also the changes with Dean Mary Baker.
Worried about the college's future, she turns to the new owner (you), hoping to restore order and decency. However, this was the worst possible move she could have made...
Timeframe for release
V0.23 is planned to launch here as a beta between mid and late December. I will share exact dates later, but I definitely want to get it done before Christmas.

It seems as though Claire's storyline takes first place in the fucked up department, though it definitely felt as though the dev was holding a few punches towards the end. Considering the rather elaborate setup for a heightened version of Eleanor's mental break it feels like a missed opportunity only for Claire to hold Scarlett at knifepoint.

We're also starting to see the limitations of going with a sandbox style of storytelling as we see the MC delve into psychopathy, only to get whiplash if you decide to experience a story like Sarah's towards the end. Regardless, each of the character stories when viewed in isolation are showing a definitely increase in writing quality, so it'll be interesting to see how the OSA get's addressed in the third act.

I think this is the first time in a VN/Game that the mother isn't one of my favorite characters lol. My favorites are Chloe, Alice, and Linda (I would have preferred Linda to be the MC's mother). Keep it up, dev, this is getting interesting!

Skipped the latest two updates to play them along with this one. The pic with what seems to be a fake bomb is hilarious, been returning to it all day and it always puts a smile on my face.

If you want the MC to be more potent, look on your phone under Drugstore. There is a fertility drug; each dose increases your chance of pregnancy by 25%. I think you have a base chance of 25%.

The effects stack? Thanks for that I was about to ask in this thread. In the current update the pills increase fertility by 20%, so I've been taking 5 at a time hoping that the 100% increase would take hold.

The effects do indeed stack with a base fertility of 20%. If you're failing to impregnate a girl aftering taking 4 pills then check to see if she's still on birth control.

Additionally, once you unlock the realtor you can start home expansions. Once you build the ascension room you can upgrade a girl's fertility to 100% permanently. I'm not sure if it'll also allow Billie to become fertile (considering her entire backstory), but it appears it might also allow Mary to become fertile again (unless the dev decides to utilize the chem lab instead).

to me it doesn't seem like a stretch that Extasy would at some point add that option for both Mary and Billie (I'm sure the zealots will have a breakdown once that happens).

1. Neither Billie's nor Mary's fertility can be altered in the ascension room.
2 The outcome of the pregnancies doesn't affect whether one can get pregnant or not.
3. While it theoretically could happen, eXtasy hasn't shown any signs of wanting it to happen and he likely won't go back and make pregnant renders for either unless there is a big enough demand for it.

D.O.O.M.

Reminds me of the semi-evil semi-ridiculous organization in T.U.F.F. Puppy with Snaptrap as its leaser xD

The game lacks a brothel with the same options as all the secondary characters. It's just a "click and fuck" type of thing, without a story. Since the hero accumulates a lot of money with nowhere to spend it, it will be both a waste of money and sex. You can also make a boss in the brothel, a mom who won't give in to you for any amount of money, and you can use your abilities on her. This is a trivial idea, of course, but quite logical. Instead of running around the city, all the whores are in one place. This idea can be reworked and developed. And the brothel location could be accessible only in the evening. Since the main events take place during the day, this would stop players from stupidly hanging out until the morning and give them something to do in the evening. There's no party for characters in the game. But it would be nice to choose someone to click on in the evening as additional content. Regarding Ava's world... That's a separate topic. So why are there no secondary characters in the looking glass of our "Alice in Wonderland"? I just let my imagination run wild.

I really liked the idea of cyberpunk. Something beautiful and futuristic, it's a shame there's so little of it. You can "Shattered Minds" not only in our world, but also in the futuristic one. So we visit different worlds, like through the looking glass.
