tell me one thing then, how can you be sure this dev is somewhat different from all the sandboxers without count BADIK? you can't , and that's because you dont know what is gonna happen in the future, what can tell me the people from this thread that cannot i discover by myself playing? nothing

i prefert to doubt any dev , and shall you too, to prevent shit from happen, when a dev gets confortable and with enough money, they start going in depressions, and stress, and family related iatus, or real job issues, so better treat all devs harsh so they do their project until the end
1) You can look at the update history
2) You can look at the amount already completed
3) You can look at developer player communication
4) You can look at the roadmap/schedule
5) You can look at their prior history

You can look at all of these and more too to make a qualified assessment of the developer and the game instead of deciding to "treat all devs harsh", which is an insanely stupid outlook on things. As if developers are more likely to finish if the player base treated them harshly.

And for the record, you just discovered the game, whereas others have been part of the journey for longer. Are you truly that delusional that you think you can't learn from those with more experience than you? There are plenty of things that you can't deduce from simply playing the game. But go ahead, keep being "positive" as you put it yourself and when you are ready to actually have a meaningful interaction with the rest of us here on the forum, then we will be ready for you.

1) 2) 3) 4) 5) = i dont want spoilers

when i play a game, if i look into the update log, i get depressed, because they add like 1000 words, 2 animations and that's all, i prefert to "feel" the game im playing beyond that.

See, there isn't a single game like shatter minds and others alike with sandbox and slow building mechanics that are completed in one go, what i mean is that i dont know any sandbox game like this, that a dev did on his own, and posted it on steam or whatever platform , what i mean is that with this kind of games the "finish" is never included in the mindset of a dev, so that means the dev doesnt plan to finish it, just add story, sex scenes and repeatable things.

what means too that there are 2 possible outcomes, that the project is left abandoned after some years of milking and stretching it, or we get a definitive product like in some games that i respect like mystwood manor, or whatevervalley school

we dont know what is going to happen to this game, so better doubt the dev, dont give him too much money, and await the outcome, be fucking cautious is all im saying, a game can start good, but usually gets bad overtime and over the years, so instead being so trustful better give this dev the stick, i've seen a lot of threads with so much love to the games they were about, with thousands and hundreds of pages, just to be disapointed and the mods deleting comments of hate because "offtopic" or "spam" hah, fucking dipshits, just be careful and don t give money away

I completely agree. It's high time to stop supporting authors financially upfront. Release an update—get paid. Don't release an update—work on the idea. I'm tired of paying them money only to end up with "the game is abandoned."

In a nutshell, this is the difference between being a Patron of a project, and a consumer of a product.

A Patron funds an artist in their endeavors prior to anything being produced - oftentimes after a prototype or sample is offered. It's been around for thousands of years.

A consumer seeks fully finished goods/services for a price equating what that product is currently worth in it's finished form.

Patreon, SubscribeStar, etc all operate on the Patron model. Steam and other sales outlets operate on the consumer model.

While I agree it's unfortunate to see so many games abandoned, it simply means they didn't keep their "Patrons" interested enough while using that model. And that's the nature of business today - investors really only keep investing (or invest to begin with) when they feel the product is meeting both expectations and milestone deadlines.

Not all artists are going to be successful and produce a decent product. Not all are going to receive the amount of Patrons they desire. The cream rises to the top in that model.

What a nonsense cop-out. Number 5 isn't even about the game in question, but prior work. You can also look up how frequent and substantial updates are without getting spoiled and the same goes for amount completed and player developer interaction.

You are also back peddling quite a lot. Showing a normal level of caution is not the same as treating someone harshly (your own words!)

If everybody thought like you, a number of great games would never have been made. Sure, one shouldn't give money willy-nilly, but somethings can be worth supporting in some form or another.

... i dont know how many content is there already but this smells like shit from miles away, just like the mind society, that afters many years of development , only has real content with an ebony woman ...
Soooo you don't know about the game. You haven't played it for long. For some reason you only found content with "an ebony woman" and that is somehow tied to your dissatisfaction. And everything you do not like is either because everything is not unlocked upfront or it is your assumptions and prejudices ruining your enjoyment. The finishing touch is you are so worried about spoilers (to ruin the fun that you decided you are not going to have) that you refuse to look up any information about the game or the developer separate from the game. Why hang around this thread, then?

Are you expecting other people here to talk you out of deleting the game from your device and to keep playing? I hope it is not you thinking that you left some kind of review (there are already 155 reviews (as of this post) that were made by others for this game from people that actually played this game through to the end of content). Most of the people on F95 downloading the games do not pay any money so your lamentations about having "lost" money you may have donated to other projects not reaching fruition fall on a lot of deaf ears. If you are not having fun playing the game, then why waste even a single minute of your precious and finite time you have left to live by inarticulately saying that you expect to not like playing the game further and then arguing with other people whom clearly enjoy playing the game and/or expect great things to come from it?

Counterpoints: every tag listed above is in the game, the tasks required to achieve objectives is clearly laid out, nothing requires anything difficult to do, the "grind" is less than what is found in many mainstream games that people shell out serious cash to purchase and play, and as of the current 0.21 Beta build there are 17 LIs that are implemented to be in the harem of which 15 can be impregnated plus 3 Side-Girls that may be used on the regular. Additionally, DIKHammer and Xx_Gamerdad-69_xX both give very good negative reviews (one brief and the other expansive) of the game weeks to months earlier that might have actually helped you avoid this game if you had not been so worried about being "spoiled." As Abraham Lincoln is credited with observing, "folks are usually about as happy as they make up their minds to be."

Pursue your happiness.

Obviously you don't get it. You never had a point. "Taking your ball and running home" only allows the other kids to happily play without the downer on the field.

Makes it easy for the rest of us to simply move along. Cheers!
