I completely disagree, and honestly, whether it’s sandbox or not doesn’t change the DECISION about Ava’s future. To me, the possibilities I mentioned are way more interesting than just forgetting her like she’s some annoying fly buzzing around in his head. Seriously, when she weakened after the MC told her he understood her, when she finally gave in, I thought ‘man, this would be the perfect moment for the two of them to actually understand each other.’ Ava is part of his mind, in a way they’re one and the same. Imagine how awesome it would be for the MC to fully grasp her pain and, instead of destroying her or locking her away again, decide he wants her by his side because together they’re stronger—or whatever other reason. I’m not a writer hahaha, but the way it was done felt to me like ‘let’s just come up with an excuse to swat this annoying fly
Damn man, congrats on that comment, you nailed exactly the frustration of having them like that in your house. Like I said in my previous comment, I don’t even know if it’s the dev’s fault or just the mind control genre in general, but for me the peak of this game was the total subjugation scene with the mom and sister together, up until that point the game was fantastic. But now? Any scene with the two of them has what weight? None, since they’ve basically lost their personalities… And I also agree that focusing on the characters already introduced would be way better than just endlessly adding more girls. It’s such a shame.
