I may be the only one that expects a Twin Peaks themed game with this title.
There's a major character named Shelly, and also a famous poem from early in the show that has a lot of importance: "Through the darkness of future past, the magician longs to see. One chants out between two worlds: Fire, walk with me."

I think it's safe to say SFP probably wasn't heavily inspired by Twin Peaks, but there are reasons fans of the show might also enjoy the game: they both have a quirky sense of humor, warmly crafted and memorable characters, and delightful soundtracks. Now if only SFP centered on a murder mystery and was more surrealistic the comparison would be perfect. There IS a diner in one of the time jumps, though, and Dale Cooper could probably buy a cherry pie that's bigger than his head from there.

Weird how some games hit the nostalgia feels. I used to watch Quantum Leap with my gran all those moons ago. This gives off a Quantum Leap vibe. Not enough hitting Ziggy tho.

I love the old Quantum Leaps but kind of didn't want Ziggy to be hit every time as Ziggy is not just an handheld device and that will come to play within the story very very soon
I was going to add Ziggy in this episode but I got knocked down by a car couple weeks ago, I'm okay, just fractured my leg, but the story is going back to the past and future because of Becky (Becky story will be the sequel to Shelly's Future Past) who Ziggy is will be introduced very very soon

This is a good game, but the reviews are 10% review and 90% ass-kissing, advertisement, and wishlisting.
IMO, they are doing a disservice to the game. Reviews are not what the 90% part is for, but it doesn't surprise me either, this site is full of entitled clueless members who just want what they want and fuck everyone else.
The dev spent countless hours on the game, and what do you see in the reviews? "Oh, I want you to do this? "Here's a glowing but empty "review"
I like the game as is. I see all the work and thought that went into it. I wish SexyShelly their well-earned success.
