That, i have played a few games that have the menu slowy fading away.
It is awful, you wast a lot of time getting in and out of menu's
hope it dies a fast death, and isnt seen much more in games

While you both are true. Reading more about it its only applies over a number of downloads + >200k in earnings (both must be true). That aint happening for any game on here. And we're pirating games here so it doesn't matter to us anyways. Lol

Mate, they only announced that change few days ago. it would take months to implement it even if they don't go back on it. And they will for sure go back on it, because games like Pokemon GO and Genshin Impact are on Unity, do you really think Nintendo and miHoYo will just hand over hundreds of millions to Unity?
Edit: I just want to remind everyone that Unity up to this point has been FREE! And for the popular titles on it the developers already share % of the profits after they have earned X amount of money with Unity. This 20 cent bullsh!t tax is on top of that and it's a breach of contract, that's why it's not going to stay.

AFAIK it's the engine itself that adds telemetry to the builds, not the game devs
