Sadly, because of the immense work required to do a proper translation, most games will never be properly translated.
To still provide people a somewhat coherent, bug free, way to play these games I'm creating efficient formats based around neural translators.

This thread is a collection of all projects I've worked on so far.

To understand what to expect when you look at one of my translations:
MTL = Google-Translate MTL.
(Made obsolete by SLR.)
DMTL = Manually Edited DeepL Neural Translator MTL.
(Made obsolete by SRS.)
SRS = AI assisted Manual Translation.
(Discontinued, No demand.)
SLRMTL = Replacer-Dictionary / AI hybrid translation
(Main Format, has undergone many changes, newer = better.)

A suggestion, could you start putting newer ones at the top or bottom? Mix & matching makes it hard to keep track of new additions to the list as they come in.

I often forget to update the list and then randomly add in old ones. I also tend (but not in any consistent matter) to keep projects I'm actually somewhat proud of at the top of the list in case someone randomly stumbles upon this thread, because for a lot of these "there was a reason" they never got a proper translation.

But you're probably right and I should just put new additions to each category always at the top from now on.
Mostly made this list for myself back then to have an overview which games I already worked on in case there's duplicate threads made.
I didn't think someone would actually care.

Someone's gonna care as otherwise what's the point? It's like writing a book no one will read, there's self satisfaction but then there's more.

Edit: I've added an encrypted version (Archive.7z) so people with issues bypassing blocks can still download this. The password is "penis".

Here's a more detailed explanation on how to use my translations on RPGM Ace/VX:
(So I have something to link to when I'm asked about it.)

I made some pictures to better visualize the steps.
(Click on the thumbnails to make them larger.)

Before you can apply the Translation you need to extract and then move or delete the "Game.rgss3a".
(On older games it can also be called "Game.rgss2a" or "Game.rgssad")

You can do this using the RPGMaker All Decrypter.
Just extract the "All decrypter.zip" somewhere, run the "RPG Maker Decrypter.exe" and choose the "Game.rgss3a" in the game's folder.

Then tell it to extract all files.

Then move the newly created folders from the "Extract" folder to your game folder.

After that move or delete the "Game.rgss3a".

Finally merge my MTL into it. (Just drag and drop everything from the translation ".zip" into your game folder.)

If you watch this thread you should get a notification every time I edit the main post of this, but there wont be anything worthwhile anytime soon.
Unless I find a new way to automate DeepL all new additions to this list will only be Google-Translate MTL's after specific request of someone because they either, cannot (because the game is too large for the free version), or do not want to, use the auto-translator MTool.
I currently work on mods to remove mosaic censorship instead.

Okay I'm super confused. My DeepL method suddenly kinda works again. I have absolutely no idea why it works again and how long it will, but maybe I can actually make more worthwhile translations again after all.

Edit: Also probably going to make some tests with the "Sugoi Japanese Translator" That one seems interesting because even if it's slightly worse than DeepL it might be more stable.

Its kinda weird to say it, but I don;t really care about DeepL.

the game/project you translate usually pretty interesting, so I am using your translation as recommendation or guide what to play.

I have been trying to follow your translation since your noel translation.

You probably didn't mean it that way, but just to make that clear:
I take random requests for additions to this list. A single person requesting something is enough for me.
Most of these games I haven't played for more than 5 minutes and me putting them on this list is not me recommending or endorsing them.
Obviously there's games on this list I would recommend like paize knightess and noelle, but there's also some games here that are (In my subjective opinion) loveless low-effort cash-grabs.

After being recommended to try out the Sugoi Translator as a potential DeepL alternative (Because DeepL is pretty horrible to work with sometimes), I made a comparison between raw Google-Translate, raw DeepL and raw Sugoi-Offline-TranslatorV2.
These are sections from the game Magical Girl Tetra.

I would say that Google translate is much more consistent in actually processing the entire input, while DeepL provides the highest amount of proper sentences.

So in conclusion based on this single test:
I don't think SugoiV2 is a viable alternative yet and a slightly edited DeepL/Google hybrid still seems like the best option for an understandable MTL.

Well that was short fun...

My DeepL stuff is broken again.
I guess it just temporarily let me past the new drm due to some update mistake.
If it ever works again, I will shut up about it, and just try to deliver new projects, so I don't give people false hope if it breaks again 2 hours later.

At least I was able to finish Goblin Attack before it stopped working again.
It was really bothering me, that I had promised to do that one, but couldn't.

Edit: But just to curse it. It has been working again for a while now.

I took the time to add the DLsite codes for all relevant entries to make searching for something specific more convenient, as well as improving general discoverability.
