tested the stuff out, i believe i literally did this before but might had forgotten, someone already posted a better version of the game by the sole fact that it includes everything including the fix files, files that are currently unavailable to adquiered thanks to the blog side of the dev being deleted, lost or taken down.

Well, more specifically, he was Ill (has the name he took imply), and had to end up stoping develloping his work for health reason.
The patreon was an attemps to have peoples help him pay his medical fee since his illness require medecine his country health system doesn't pay for in full, so he need money just to fight the symptoms (not even get cured).

In short, gave up on the game.
The only possible way the dev could get back to it would be :
1) miraculous guerison
2) new curing medicine developped an he get a place in the clinical study about it and get cured

Oh, and in both case, after recovering he decide to get back to his work after 10+ years....

(naaah,not happening....).

Hmm . . . in other words . . . it shouldn´t be too hard to either buy the rights for the Game or convince him to get permission to continue it oneself . . .

I don't know how you came to that conclusion considering this is obviously a dude's passion project. What do you even expect to be buying from this guy anyways? The art assets? The spaghetti code that makes the gameplay possible but probably also requires you to significantly invest time to even utilize? The barebones story that basically ends right after the prologue? It's easier to just make a brand new game from scratch.

Personally, I'm watching this thread in the incredibly off chance that the dev somehow gets backs into it. I have no interest in seeing someone try to frankenstein their own original content onto what's basically a proof of concept. It just screams lazy.

i think, there is another game like it called.. snowmaiden? but are there others?
You mean MaiDenSnow Eve. The Shimmering Horizon and Cursed Blacksmith is pretty solid, but hasn't been updated for months as they're going for the full release. Kinky Dungeon is pretty good too, but its focus is on bondage rather than actual sex.
LonaRPG is also pretty good if you don't mind investing time to understanding the intended gameplay. Instead of turn based dungeon exploration, it's basically an action RPG with survival mechanics. The overmap and fixed locations aren't procedural generated, but everything else is.

This is not true, the developer never said that he created the patreon for treatment, moreover, he bought himself a tablet to work on the game, not medicine. Patreons who knew him better even saw him in online games when he complained about problems with his eyes. And even three years after he abandoned Patreon, we found messages where he finally found a cure that helped him a lot. The main problem is that he promised a lot and did nothing. After the author, I met a number of people in practice who complained about their health and justified their incompetence and even the work I paid for, although I was more than loyal to such people. Now I am convinced that normal and competent people will never talk about their ailments and problems, so that later it can be turned into an excuse and pity. The author of this is just another proof.
On top of that, the backers offered to continue sponsoring him, they just asked to hire a person and give him half the money in exchange for developing the game. But the Author didn't even do that

I remember playing Maidensnow before, but IIRC the mechanics were complex and the H was sparse.
Shimmering Horizon is new to me, but it looks like a femdom game.

I've tried Lona. i actually think I was a patreon, way back at the start. It's definately not to my (or most people's) tastes anymore though.
The game seems to go out of it's way to make every sex scene as unsexual as possible.

It's a shame that H-rpgs that actually put in the effort on the RPG-front are so thin on the ground.

I guess Wings of Roldea is my addition to the pile.

Honestly, I kinda prefer these kind of games to not be littered with sex scenes. I enjoy the challenge of a roguelike and the loot scavenging aspect of it. I think it makes sense to have the H-content show up when you are defeated or are at a safe house. It's the times when you're winding down out of your loot goblin funk. If I want to get my rocks off, roguelikes definitely don't make my top 10, regardless of how much H-content is in it. It's simply not the focus.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of Roldea. Combat felt super sames-y regardless of what I fought. XP and money was very slow to come by and as far as I remember, you never evolve past having the standard melee attack and the one ranged magic attack. I dumped maybe 8 hours into it before admitting I'm not having much fun.

As for regular H-RPGs that have a bit of sex scenes, there's quite a lot to choose from. Karryn's Prison is one of the more popular examples. Hell, Monster Girl Quest: Paradox part 3 dropped recently, and that game's about as authentically old-school JRPG and sex filled as it can get.

Gotta agree with that, I pumped in like 100 hours on maidensnow eve, even with its badly translated eng stuff. It has a certain charm to it. Also every mechanics ties in with the gameplay. Losing may yield some nice loot because at least it gives essences, and if you know what you doing you are hardly getting perma killed on it.
Basically dont go too deep in levels because enemies get so strong it becomes unfair. But the deeper you go the bigger the chance for powerful gear and essences

To be entirely fair:

The Patreon goals (before Patreon removed them for its new dogshit interface) were, to quote: "To buy more cigarettes", "So I can buy more music albums", "To buy more medicine", "So I can buy a new art tablet", and "So I can get a computer with more than 4Gb of RAM".

The only thing even vaguely game related was set unrealistically high, and it was for "Hiring VAs to replace the stock soundpack ones".

Anyone that supported him on Patreon knew what they were getting into.

Paradox has honestly one of the better class/job systems I've ever seen.
But the artwork is grotesque and shota/Male-sub isn't my thing, so it's got nothing for me on the H-front.

Meh, if he wants to continue the Game himself he can be my guest!

If he doesn´t I might as well do it myself! ;)

Sure, righter the dozen other games you said the same thing about. You'd need a new artist because you'll need consistent assets, the story practically doesn't exist, and you'd need to either learn how he did the controls or make them yourself. In other words, you'd need to remake the game from scratch. A game that only has a prologue. Like I said before, there's really no point.

I don´t need a point!

I can do it cause I feel like it!
