I'm in the same situation, but I see that Anon4321 he managed to get to the couch with Rose sleeping, but there were no changes to the options. I don't know if he went to see Rose to scan his PC at a particular time or "x" days

Crazy grind with ~110 'Likeness' with the mom: and still 'Loveness' for the mom is stuck at 3.
All she does is bitch-slap MC.
I don't know what convoluted thing I need to do to progress.

I had the same problem as well, so I tried walking around, talking to and helping her in the kitchen, then just leaving and going back to the laptop, it’s not 100%, but it seems to work most of the time.
and only when the husband‘s not around, it works any day I can work on the laptop

When you’re at the beach, at the life guard station, don’t talk to her from below, it the bit tricky, but you should be able find the hotspot to take you into the tower and approach her.
it depends on what tips you have for her, and if you’re not using the inbuilt cheat, that you are always clean, fed, high energy, etc
