Developing erotic games nowadays requires having a good story with a beginning, middle and end, and having a passion for what you do, regardless of whether you get support or not.
There are few games that are still receiving support from Patrons today.
Most games never get past the first chapter. I think a lot of people have gotten smart about supporting these types of games, because most DVs just want to make money by offering something that never gets past chapter 1 or 2.
I was criticized a while back for saying something about this, and now I see that everything I said back then is happening and people have really gotten smart about believing that most of the huge amounts of games that appear here never get past chapter 1.... Good luck with your game.
Even the best and most famous game developers have stopped investing in this, because years ago it was easy to get supporters but as the saying goes, a rotten tomato spoils all the good stuff inside the bag.
Now should I continue or not?
