I liked all the title I've found here: Apocalypse Mutant 1 and 2, Teen Alien In Your Closet, Teen Zombie In Your Cabin, The Flat Lust Project and of course Short Sad Stories.
But, what you mean "the next title"? Did I missed one?
PS: I think I will start my translation very soon...
I'm referring to the project I'm currently developing, and which I hope to finish before the end of this year. It's called Almost Castaways and it's about two girls who are shipwrecked on a lost island.

You can find out more on my if you wish.

Good luck with that translation. It's an honor!

Don't play on Android, so don't need your port.
Still, thanks estrada777 for your work which can increase the audience for this amazing game!

It's been a while since an AVN managed to catch and keep my attention for a full playthrough.
SSS is in a league of its own, and I think it's criminally underrated. It's funny, in a way, because this game uses narrative devices I usually dislike: a female MC and switching perspectives to other characters/temporary MCs.
But I don't think this story could've been told differently, certainly not with respect for its emotional beats. These only work if the player has a certain buy-in to what's happening, and letting them inhabit the character it's happening to is the correct tool to use. A female MC headlining an AVN usually involves a lot of corruption. Thankfully, this story isn't about that at all.

I wouldn't be me if I didn't have some criticisms or nitpicks, though.
  • While I love the choices and pathing, some choices feel impotent, certainly if they're about not engaging with content.
    • For instance, I decided to never engage with Nick but still saw them naked on a bed when Nick was committed. Later, the heroine explains this as them fooling around but never having had actual sex... Weird. If the story required them to be intimate, I would've liked either fewer choices or a forced scene. Though, seeing how they can end up, there's really no reason why they couldn't have been just friends.
    • Another example is with the cousin and the thin girl. If he blows her off during the first Saturday, he'll still be at the hospital with her and say she fell unconscious in front of him. It sounded like this was supposed to happen on their outing, but it can be unrelated since the flow of time between scenes isn't always clear.
    • The whole path with Spider felt iffy as well. Despite me not engaging with her content at all, it felt like there was an undertone of them having fooled around anyway.
  • In general, I would've liked it if the choices we made had more influence on the FMC's anxiety or openness to new experiences. This too would hinge largely on what she tells Nick her regrets are.
  • If our heroine overdoses, she's taken out of the game for a chapter. I loved this, but I also feel it lacked fallout. After she recovers and rejoins the main path through the story, it's never really brought up again. She gets reborn during her outing with Nick, and everyone else is immediately on board with that. For instance, she gets to hit her brother for his lies and deceit, but he doesn't get to be angry at her for her selfish action.
  • While they are few, there are a few spelling and grammatical errors.
  • A few renders have very apparent clipping, mostly clothing. Some sequential renders make an artifact appear. I'm not certain if these are an Easter egg (it looks like a panda) or an error.
  • Some stories just fall to the side, like someone's coke addiction or how the FMC's parents are coping when Nick is institutionalized.
  • The "A Night Out" DLC
    • This one seems pure fanservice and doesn't expand on anything. It's not really a send-off either; I think the main game did that perfectly.
I'm not opposed to fanservice, but I would've liked it more as a kind of "what if" with characters we already know. For instance, what if she wanted to test her bisexuality with the safety of a male friend instead of during a threesome with strangers.
    • This threesome also made me wonder about our Princess' sexual/physical experience in general. In my playthrough I've never even seen her with a dildo. It could've been a sweet and intimate moment if the wife prepared the Princess first with a dildo before she took the husband. Compared to the main game, the lack of real intimacy and care in these scenes put me off. There is lip service to the Princess being a virgin, but you wouldn't know it seeing the scene.
    • This DLC also makes a few references regarding content that suggests there is a canon path through the game. And, with the tease of her story continuing, I would love an NG+ mode that removes choices or colors those that are considered canon.
  • In general, I would've loved a bit more focus on the heroine's path of healing and self-discovery. I would've happily exchanged the content with the porn stars for it. The expansion of the cast in the later chapters makes me think that the game's development was cut short.

Thanks for your opinion and for your thoughtful critique, which I find very accurate. The experience of writing a drama has been very rewarding and constructive, and the room for improvement is tempting. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I'm getting my thoughts together and will post a review on Steam soon. It's been on my mind the past few days, even when consuming other media or games. I'm looking forward to your next project and will be sure to buy it as well.
