anyone else have this problem with rose where I can't resist her eye attack? I tried using mods to remove the debuff but it doesn't work because of the way the game works. I can't provide a picture cuz I ended up deleting the game to start over, but the debuff looked like an eye with a wiggly line going over it. I will admit that I mostly skipped the dialogue after a certain point in the game so maybe this has been mentionned in the story and I skipped it, but if this is a problem I can solve I'd like to know the solution before I reach her again in the next playthrough.

for the rose thing its been sometime and i cant remember aint that the debuff thing you get at the start of the fight? like 3 eye looking icon, a tip i can give you is befor any boss copy your full save folder and put it somewhere else and if you lose to many times just delete it and put your copy back,
now for the rose thing if its the 3 eye looking icons you get at the start of the fight here what i said on a comment on page 42
first part is evade stance then def stance after that you pick one of the 3 new added actions like dance you need to use def stance 3 times to remove all 3 alerts buffs she has then use the needle thats when you can fight normally, if you know this already you can just ignore it and its not what i was thinking you were talking about

I did, yeah. Only out of the ordinary thing I did was re-fight the end boss of chapter 2 just to see if anything would happen. Otherwise I've just followed the quest.
the only things I can image that was wrong is that you didn't complete some other demon request or you didn't touch the crystal when you arrived the first time would be lame if true
Just going to have to chalk it up to RPGMaker weirdness, I've kept backup saves so I haven't lost too much progress in any case.
I've attached a zip with my set of saves if anyone with RPGMaker knowhow wants to take a look at it.

How did you recruit the spider girl without fighting her in her "true audience room" ? That's literally impossible.

Did my second run through of the endgame, figured out I didn't activate the crystal before fighting JG. Looks like there's no way back into that room afterwards without the nighttime teleport from the crystal, so I don't have the location unlocked for the bonding quest.
Mystery resolved I guess? Probably something that should get patched though.

This is going to sound dumb, but is the Clown Daji? Now hear me out, the clown can shapeshift which on it's own doesn't seem that convincing, but consider the following as well.
She seems to have the highest hp of all characters so far (with Maybe Rose beating her, not at pc rn to check).
All the aces are Daji with the rest of the non numerical cards (Jokers, Queens and Kings) being shrift 1 characters.
