hey guys, I'm having trouble with the quest "In pursuit of demon essence" by Gold in energy association. I can't seem to finish his quest even though I have disassembly all thing I can with a backup save and I can't finish it. I even have all Item for "For science" quest and I can't seem to finish it either.

You used Mtool didn't you...
There is a reason I NEVER use Mtool for any of my games. It tends to change shit you really don't want it to change, like the text for no reason.
Honestly wish there was just a way to cheat SP or exp in this game without using it.
Issue is it's tied to the "overall" save file of your game so you cannot cheat engine it or use save editor. it's legitimately impossible to do so from my experience or is hidden and never pinned by anyone in the threads.
If you didn't know from reading this, I hate Mtool with a f****** passion. If it just let me cheat, fair enough, but it tends to change stuff I just don't want changed. Tried using it in shrift one back during my first playthrough, not only did it change all the text, it made it go off screen, eventually leading to a fatal error. So I had to retrace all my steps back to the spider den from the beginning of the game.
So after that experience all I can say is screw Mtool.
And to those saying "oh just transfer your saves" it corrupted the lot.

Well, this is somewhat correct. If you change the value of SP/EXP then get the game to write to the global save file (i think it's commonsave.sav or smth like that) via interacting with the save pillars (and I think getting the game to autosave too), it won't overwrite your edited values. This doesn't work with ejac debuffs, as you need to be milked first. ...So remove whatever state you have (1-5 and husk) and let a demon milk you, then sleep, then save. Should work fine, but still requires mtool or rpg maker mv...
Damn, this game got updated since I last looked at this thread. Like always, this is some of the best content (in my opinion) here on this site.
