No, hypnos is just meant to be an extra scene that gives the buff to all stats from oversleeping.

Is anyone aware of the fact the current latest translation patch fails with a ContextMismatchException on the 39th element in the array of Actors.json? The exception suggests deleting the entry, but deleting the entry from the file itself ends up causing a NullPointerException when running the translator again. The same result happens on the version downloaded from pixeldrain and mixdrop.
The only translator that actually finished working was the legacy patch S2Translationv1.1Gamev1.21, which unsurprisingly makes sense, since I can't seem to access the second chapter at all. Is the second chapter not available in the download files posted in the OP?

You have to "open the game zip file using winrar , press control+e , set it to japanese , extract" courtesy of @Demonkiller12345. As an aside, I advise running Japanese locale with the program. Also also, I know the translation patch you want isn't going to come as a rar but will instead tab you to a drive download where the most recent patcher is. They might have updated the OP, but I had to do it that way.
The update post stated there is no new content in the translation. It only goes up to the end of chapter 1. You can still grind away since the chapter 1 stuff is all still translated. No known ETA for chapter 2's patch.

The japanese encoding change is not a solution for this specific issue. I have already done that. Had I not done so, the name of my game folder would be "SHRIFTçU" but with the change of the encoding it's "SHRIFTⅡ"
Then the OP must've been updated at some point, because the latest translator patch is for v2.07. However, they must've uploaded the latest translators without the latest game versions.
Does the content of those files include the untranslated version of the game with chapter 2? How's it different from what's posted in the OP?

That's probably the issue you're having, then. I believe there is a more current version of the game somewhere in this thread, but the OP not being updated with the most recent version and the most recent patch is a bit weird.
As far as I know, the current version of the game I have includes chapter 2 in all of its untranslated glory. The patcher still works fine, too. I would guess that someone didn't update the OP with the most recent version of the game which might be causing a conflict with the patcher. I couldn't say, since I'm not the bear handling this project.

EDIT: The downloads worked. I'll wait for either chapter 2 translates to drop at some point or just MTL it. MTL has gotten much better than the poetry it used to give before after all

By this, he means actually "Walk" instead of running, the teleport squares only teleport you when you Run through them, walking allows you to go past them like normal.
Use this to fully explore the floor, but keep in mind that you will have to Walk at least once past a teleport square to actually get out of the floor, simply Running will keep looping you.

Can someone help me? im using maldives, I patched correctly, and even set winrar to Japanese before unpacking. But whenever the game needs to load a non-sprint animation, the game just freezes and continues to play bgm. But I'm still able to walk around and interact with menus and what not, but the MOMENT the game needs to play an animation, it stops.
