Is everyonnes game working ok ? dowloaded from dlsite and half the images will not appear including main char

I am struggling with the first enemy kage onna? half the game is japanese half is english
Be sure to download and extract the original game with your system locale set to japanese. If you don't, a bunch of the game file's names become gibberish and the game doesn't read them.
That is definitely not how it's supposed to be. Something did not go right when you applied the translation patch. Reinstall the game and apply the patch correctly (it has to be set to the same folder as the .exe file), or just download the game with the patch already applied in the latest download link posted here

This is a common issue. You need to extract the game while your system locale is set to japanese.

You don't necessarily need to do that, that's the hard way, the easy way is to unzip the file with japanese unicode
This is bandizip with the settings I have set up, I use bandizip to extract japanese games, don't need to run the system locale with japanese at all:

I still sorta like the original better but this one's shaping up nicely. Like MGQP, mostly just waiting for it to be fully finished and translated. Bought it forever ago lol, hopefully it's nearing the finish line.
Cool to have gotten news for MGQ and this game so close together. Now we just need Silksong announcement at game awards though I now have doubts it'll beat Nine Sols.

You can also just use Winrar. ctr+e, set to Japan, extract.

I already got 2.56 from elsewhere or maybe it was here i dont really remember but it looong time ago. Will I miss anything? it label as 2.56-T1.6 and size almost the same from here. I just dont want to find out if I have to do all the translation patch manually stuff

Unfortunately, that's true. They're trying their best to keep up even though it might just be easier to wait. Half the problem is that the development of the game isn't linear, he keeps adding stuff to old parts of the game even as he progresses it forward.
Might be best just to wait for the final part to come out.

Does anyone have a translation of what all the status effects do? You can't read what they all do unless it's your turn and that's not possible with quite a few of them.
is it enough to just download the game and it will have the latest content? or do I need to add DLC and translation files?
my game just dont play properly the character dont load and cant start tutorial proprly,alredy installed and unistalled the game some times and still cant fix
