I have never seen a developer create such a great game and then ruin it. You can't enjoy the H scenes without losing all your levels. If you go back to your last save, the levels are still gone. What idiot though that was a good idea? At least they don't call you a spectator this time if you are on easy mode and humiliate the players. This dev seems to have no empathy for what the player experiences.

First,You can get sp without losing levels

Second The all point is to manage that 5 Debuff when doing all the stuff

Third If you at lastgo with level 30 you can win,as they say in the game

Fourth Is that bad for you that "Intervener" Thing? We are only Players but the harem thing is for Kazuya xD

I know the 2 games are not perfect,they have flaws and bugs but is made it for 1 girl/dude in Japan,who don't know that hard to RPG Maker and is saying to you,at last is not liying to you and being open.And after all Asian people love grinding i see it in a lot of games Rpg likee,if you like changes don't cry here and go to her Twitter as a normal human being,calm and say that things better than this xD

I'll be completely honest. I like the concept behind the level being shared across saves.

It's a good idea to kind of give a "consequence" for losing to temptation. Something that is clearly missing in GoR games in general.
The whole idea of Level Drain is often misused by devs, because you can simply load to remove that consequence, so it's a good answer to that "Lose on purpose => Watch the Scene => Reload => Win" loop that plague the whole genre.
The whole game being balanced at around level 30 help a lot with that, too. After all, if you have too many levels, you have more incentive to give them up.

While I'm talking about giving up levels, getting Level Drained by your allies isn't a problem either, as it's supposed to give you other permanent rewards which ends up making you stronger overall, thanks to the SP points.
Personally, I would also give the player some sort of reward once Trust 100 is reached, like upgraded versions of Richard's basic skills, for example (Kage Onna could give an improved version of the Will restoration skill for example).

Now. Does it have problems? Yeah, definitely. But grinding itself isn't bad. The real problem is what is the grind. It's just annoying to fight random monsters in a turn-based RPG Maker game just for the sake of it. Especially with how those encounter works (going to a dungeon, then running around to find encounter spots), and even more so when most of those enemies are very weak anyway. The whole first-person dungeon crawling mechanic is pretty badly made overall, too.

I saw it in the 'kya' folder of the game but cannot find it in the Gallery.

I'm pretty sure it's her jumpscaring you and that's just the intermediate frame

The game is literally based on undertale and shin megami tensei. Also you can grind your levels back quite easily, you can stack exp augments, and eventually once you get siren everytime you beat a wandering spirit, you get some willpower and faith back.

Worst comes to worst, you just use m tool to cheat in levels, no shame. I did the same with the sp for the demon abilities and other abilities.

Thanks for the reply. I feel like this is a game created for gamers. I almost feel like I should be taking notes as I play it. That's OK, but I almost feel like there should be a warning label. I'm not a gamer.

To be honest this entire game feels like a first game in the series, not a sequel. It basically ignored everything Shrift did to take it's own direction. This is fine and all but the direction is grinding, bad freeroam, generic dungeons, generic enemies, baby easy battles, etc. While there are very good changes and it's a step up from most of shrift, it's a worst game overall full of baffling choices you'd expect in a first game. Shrift 1 was basically all story and struggling. This is all grinding and fluff. If they get rid of all generic enemies and replace them with actual squeezing enemies, give a point to the freeroam besides wasting our time, and make the grinding actually fun, then this game would actually be better than shrift 1. This game might be very enjoyable for some people, but within the shrift formula? It's pretty bad.

This is fine and all but the direction is grinding, bad freeroam, generic dungeons, generic enemies, baby easy battles, etc. While there are very good changes and it's a step up from most of shrift, it's a worst game overall full of baffling choices you'd expect in a first game. Once again.... The game is a prequel 10 years before shrift, this is when demons are not rampant in droves like the harpies in the city in shrift 1. They pop up every now and then, but a lof of them are in hiding, so for lore reasons, no, you won't see tons of them.

There's exp augments to make it so you don't have to grind as much, which you can stack, and worse comes to worse like I said with another person, you can just use m tool to give yourself levels or the sp for the skills, no shame I did it myself.

The way that kage onna is set up is so that she's the first real demon you fight outside the tutorial, so she's the actual 1st boss. If he was to do what you suggested here, he'd have to rewrite a bit of the game, I think it's fine the way it is, obviously not every game is going to please every person, it is what it is.

Also no, prequels are not almost guaranteed to be better, I know plenty that are worse or not as good as the 1st game released.

You can still do this by backing up your save folder before starting an encounter.
