Nope. Genocide is the hardest, as circa somewhere around v7.2 it became essentially impossible to beat. It isn't IMPOSSIBLE impossible, apparently, but it is very close to being so.

I wouldn't exactly call this game as a whole "hard" either, I would rather call it "bullshit" first. The only "difficulty" in it is whether or not RNG screws you over.

Even worse on suicidal difficulty, and I'm working on that with just the true pacifist route, I've been taking long breaks because the damage done + the janky rng a.i. stuff has been driving me insane.

And hell no, I am not doing genocide on that difficulty, lol.

Oh boy, I sure love using my turn to take out ectasy so the enemy can put ectasy again and also increase my lust, having said that this game is peak despise this bullshit multiple turns to the enemy, I feel that the sequel fixed this (I just wish I had the platinum box of some enemies or just cheshire, I understand that for lore reasons not every enemy in the EX scenarios has a my room space but still kinda sucks not having at least the platinum box)

Hmm... Cool Calm can help with ecstasy, kind of.
But I personally didn't care about all of this stupid stuff and cheated my way through the game, since I find it not fun to rely on luck in a game with a lot of annoying mechanics that drastically slows down the gameplay.
And trust me, even with all unlocked skills and fully upgraded stats this game is still hella annoying, and you still can lose.

In all EX scenarios I just bruteforced my way with Mtool to lock my lust to 0 and removed ectasy in every turn so I could always attack, I had fun until the end after daji and samael but already saw how cheap this game is, so when I got into EX I just used Mtool, I do that when I finish a game or am not having fun with it, but in shrift 2 I'm not using it because it actually seems pretty fair

I didn't go that far, since I was interested in lose scenes as well, but I don't see a problem with that if it makes your game experience more fun, which is the reason why we are playing games at all, for fun.
Though, you could always use magic even with 1 ecstasy and White Witch's Amulet prevents repetition from ecstasy to charmed, protects even from dazed if I remember correctly, but yeah, still annoying to deal with that.

Thank you, I got the guide, but for the good ending from what I saw in the guide you need 100 affection, can I gain affection during fights or later in the game?

In My Room, which will be unlocked after the first sleep.
Affection is being gained through intimacy (sex) and presents.

I wanna add that you get 1 affection for defeating a demon and letting them run instead of killing them, no matter how you fight them (bronze boxes, after a certain ending, going on a monster girl quest, etc.)

I just completed the game. I can't figure out if there's a black kitsune in the game? I completed all the EXs, got 100% and ring, but the last 4 crystals don't light up. It can't be that the developers just forgot about it and moved on to making the second game?

Nope, it's not out yet, it's most likely going to happen after he's finished with Shrift 2.

100% the compendium and grab the item in the last box. Then, all will be revealed onto thee.

It's pretty much possible if you get enough experience points and healing items :3
