In chapter 1-1 right? There's a note of stuff that the police nabbed that contains hints to unlocking the lockers. Alternatively, if you downloaded the game from here, there should be a file called shrift notes with the codes and other useful info in the games folder (It won't be too handy for sword only tho :/ ) .Is there a place i can get the passcodes for these lockers that are locked all over the place?
hey can anyone help am playing this game in a pc and am facing a diffculty the consloe mining ggame to esacpe the button need to press is ? i tried everything no luck pls help me
i think he's talking about shrift 2, or he's talking about the part where u need to press 2 letters to pop up the console in the menuUh... that grammar's kinda...
What chatper are you on? Need more info to work with.
So I managed to fix the first error shown in your post, but now I'm getting the same kind of error but in the (i assume) final fight, so i tried replacing the file like before but for the file it said this time and it still isn't workingHi everybody I was having a lot of problem with EX4 like a lot of people in this thread.
It seems that most people have those 2 errors View attachment 4819988 View attachment 4819990
I have seen that FirstForm helped a lot of people with those errors but for some reason his fixes never worked for me and they were spread on few different pages so i wanted to put it all in one place if somebody is struggling with those errors like me.
First things first here is a link for files that seems to be missing/have their name changed so game does not recognise them
Shrift fix
There is something weird with some of those files (i assume two of them have same name and when its zipped they merge into one file) at least on my pc so when you download them look into Characters folder after you unpack and see if there are 3 files there. If you have only 2 try to download them directly by going into Characters folder in the link i posted and doing right click>direct download.
If you put those 3 folders into your shrift/Graphics and replace you should be able to pass event after Vanpire fight and first of the errors should be solved.
Second error was happening to me little later after final twins fight. If its happening to you also try to download Shrift again from first page of this thread but when you unpack it switch to JIS unpacking (in winrar press ctrl+e for shortcut). After you do that copy your saves to that new Shrift folder. This should solve second error but if you were like me and had both errors you will need to go back and put files from above into shrift/Graphics again.
All credit for this goes to FirstForm. I have seen his replies and even his own links to those missing files but they never worked for me and they are so spread that its hard to search for them.
the images that u downloaded doesn't have the correct name for the game to recognize them probably you should check that, and also might not be the correct file extensionSo I managed to fix the first error shown in your post, but now I'm getting the same kind of error but in the (i assume) final fight, so i tried replacing the file like before but for the file it said this time and it still isn't working
Each MAIL file is obtained by getting a specific ending. They don't influence anything in your game, they're entirely just for lore and story purposes. The remark to delete them could have been for any variety of reasons, whether it was for "oh those were left in on accident", "oh those have spoilers for the game in them", or whatever else.Hello, I just finished True Pacifist run as well as EX1, and only just took note of the MAIL in the folder, even though I remember seeing it all the time I opened the folder. I've searched it up on the thread and something about deleting them (???) came up. However, I notice that 000 and 001 have more recent dates, meaning they were probably created or updated recently, while the others are like that since I unzipped the game. View attachment 5124784 Should I delete the rest assuming they were meant to be created at a later date and not come with the game? Or is it too late, and I somehow fucked up my game? I have no clue what they influence or what causes them to appear tbf
You have two options. Or, three, I guess, but whatever:Hey folks
I tried this game a while back and got really pissed it doesn't let you do a genocide run until you finish it.
Want to come back to this now - is there a way to bypass that limitation? a mod that removes the requirement, or maybe some save file?
I've looked over the thread and a guy posted a full ex4 save file but the link is down now.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
The Hyakki Mail File as well as 999 should be deleted for the fact that both are ones you need to know when you've gotten and should read them.Hello, I just finished True Pacifist run as well as EX1, and only just took note of the MAIL in the folder, even though I remember seeing it all the time I opened the folder. If your version of the game has the debug mode mod, or if you use mtool, you could just turn on one of the neutral ending switches, interact with a save terminal (you don't have to save for the game to write to publicdata) and then genocide. I did that for when I did genocide, but I might be forgetting something (other than which switches are neutral end switches, but they're obvious if translated). I did that with the version on OP btw, if that's necessary to know.Hey folks

Is there any way you could link me a version with the debug mode, or forward me to a reply that has a working link?If your version of the game has the debug mode mod, or if you use mtool, you could just turn on one of the neutral ending switches, interact with a save terminal (you don't have to save for the game to write to publicdata) and then genocide.
