"oh no, the devs didn't make the story exactly as I want" that's what I hear.
What would have happened if they didn't add a sex scene on the first alpha? Exactly, all the people that now are whining that "it feels rushed, hur dur, they should wait for the sex" now would be whining because "it coud have fitted perfectly".
I see this all the time on novels forums, there's always people whining because the stories don't match with what they want to read. It's simple, if you don't like the story, then that story isn't for you,as simple as that.

With such approach you can not even bother on characters build up and relationships, simply just add few phrases to MC when he meet new girl: "Bend over slut" thats all. But if we will not talk about preferences in plot, I think I presented strong argument why this scene look out of place. MC lost his son and buried him 10 minutes ago, after that he has sex with this girl. In human psychology there is such a moment when people are experiencing severe emotional stress they could fuck even with stranger, but I don't think it will work in such situation, because this character lost his kin, and all what he would feel in this moment it's grief and sorrow, or he would be just stonehearted degenerate. I would not want to talk about personal examples, but believe me this is as i written. In the end, this character action not only looks unrealistic, but it also bad scenario decision, because you did not have time to feel the character, they complete strangers and don't know each other and when this scene come you feel nothing. It also will not be so interesting to watch how relationship between them grow, because they already had sex and many situations will be much less intriguing.

As for the sex scenes in early build, i really understand position of the devs, they wanted to show newcomers what they up to, how good they can create animation, but I think they did mistake to choose one of the main character of this story - this archmage girl, and put this scene in poor conditions. I also must add that not so few developers public they first release even without sex scenes at all, and it looks ok if the if the game already gives a good foundation for the future and gameplay worth it.

The game has potential as a VN/RPG hybrid if you get some freedom in the choices of which areas you want to conquer first on the map. I have to think a bit about DS1 here. Leaving the player the choice to go for a hard area first and being able to pull it off "IF" they know what to do for a bigger reward and perhaps alternative events instead of just following the optimal beginners path would be super awesome.

Too much hand holding the entire time will make the game boring and stiff. I'm willed to play a game multiple times if the different choices are meaningful and not just "repeat the same crap multiple times to get the last 15% of missing content of the game for some minor chances". Looking forward for more.

Even though you're doing good reasonings, I think you're not totally right. And I think it's because that's how you'd develop the story, which is not an solid argument.
For what I see: son and citizens killed at night > at morning MC and girl are in a forest. MC also buries son > Demon girl at night and sex.
My maths: sex happen around 20-24 hours after the lost of the son, and around 12 hours after he buried him. Not 10 minutes.

I will not say that this is time more than enough. But in the conversation with the demon girl he's affected for all that. But we also know that he was a widow for around 4 or 5 years, so no sex all that time.
I think that some people in that situation won't have sex probably the more moralistic ones, but many others would (without considering they would be degenerates). Why?
Because after all the suffering of losing everything you cared, your wife, your son, your city...it's arrogant to believe there's only a good way to act. And looking for the more easy expression of pleasure it's something that I don't believe that happens, I know that happens.
We also don't know if sex happens because of the armor, or not. I personally believe that it doesn't have anything to do with it, but we can't know for sure, at least for now.

About releasing a first alpha without sex...it's risky. This is F95, and we are here because we want sex games, succesful games on patreon are also mostly sex games. So I'm with clayton when he says that many supporters wouldn't understand the absence of porn in the first alpha. At least I personally think I will also add sex to keep people engaged to my game

I agree with dyra that this is well presented for an Alpha release. This is so early in the plot that it makes little sense to start debating the plot. I'm more concerned with the basic play and function of the game.
SP was very polished and worked smoothly by the time I played it. The comments/complaints with regard to the battle mechanism are well founded BUT I can't believe that the DEVs will not address that in the next few releases BECAUSE the plot is pointing out that we're going to be seeing some more battles. He's NOT King yet...and the road ahead has implications of many battles to come. I expect this game will smooth out as it is developed.
SO, let's 'give 'em a little leeway' with the plot base and let's see what changes and improves during the next few releases.

Hmm, the first 3 games with big patreon base came to my mind really confirm this. But it hard to say 100% accurate based on just a few examples, this requires a large sample, but it's not case. I'm not strongly against this idea, like I said my main concern it's on of the main girls in first release. In this few examples of successful game there been sex, but with side characters. I really cant understand this people who just want sex in the game no matter the plot, why waste time on dialogues game mechanics and plot, if there is tons of porn for such urges. I personally play this games because I want to see story, gameplay and sex as really pleasant bonus. Another thing why I play because porn just not entertaining for me, it's feels fake, actors not playing any role, they just fuck on camera, and you basically have no feeling in it. And this games can you give you stories about characters, their personality's etc. (I think you got my idea). But then devs throwing sex just like that it's ruin all immersion and you start feeling like you just watching the porn.

This is so early in the plot that it makes little sense to start debating the plot.

Agree, I just wanted express my thoughts and point out on some of concerns which faced when i played the game. This forums exist for that after all. Anyway, i'll wait one maybe two versions of the game before will come up with decision: Do I want to continue play it or not.

OK, now this is an important feed back for the DEV... I went and restarted the game from the beginning and BIG PROBLEM....my mouse was INVISIBLE. By searching around, I found the 'continue trigger' and the game worked but whoa...it was luck. Ok no mouse visible on the '18yo alert page' or main menu or in the game. Also, the forced full screen is a bummer as no adjustments are available. Please fix!

The Devs said there was a shocking amount of outright racism of "I can't play it if the MC has darker skin"... Like seriously? There's games as dragons, furries, slimes, ghosts, rapists, and people take issue with the fact that the MC isn't a young white dude like the last game?

I dunno, it feels really silly that of all the things people struggle with it isn't having superpowers but the fact that their dude may be 40 years old. I'm honestly not looking at the dude most of the time anyway. Also, Overlord is a popular game with an older MC, it's nice to step away from the "brash, hotheaded youngster" MC all the time.

I hope 5A won the vote with the colours, I'm too poor right now to be a higher tier patron.

People are usually dumb but pretend to tolerate stuff. In fact they only tolerate stuff if it benefits them and turn full Hitler if their foolish bloated pride gets touched.

Hahaha whaat? I'm caucasian and I definitely get that kind of tan at the end of summer, and no one ever said I'm black, lol! But devs should change him because Nulkan is way more handsome than I am and I want to feel identified, so they should use a relatively overweight, short and dark blonde guy as the MC because if not I can't play it xD (see how ridiculous it sounds) . And about the age, I'm 31 and I wouldn't say the MC is older than me, to be honest. There's a soldier that appears at the intro that looks around 40, and I see the MC younger than that other character. Maybe the white hair makes people think he's older? But that's a feature of his nation, not old white hair.
