As far as using the pills on girls, there is almost always a choice not to use the pills. The only time that there wasn't a choice to use the pills on an LI was with the doctor at the beginning, and it was unintentional.

Edit: And just to make sure I'm not talking out of my ass, I went back and rechecked the beginning of the Faith routes. The only time MC actually does use the pills on Faith is on the sharing route, wherein MC tells Jake about the pills instead of keeping it a secret. Jake is literally the one who talks MC into using the pills on Faith. On the non-sharing route, MC never uses the pills on her. So any way you slice it, Jake is still the asshole.

Ah good point, I thought Telling Jake was the start of the sharing path, but perhaps I was wrong about that. I wasn't aware you could deny Jake sharing Faith after telling him about the pills. Either way though, the point still stands. Faith is horny for MC right from the start with or without the pills being used. If you never tell Jake about the pills, he never suggests using them on Faith and yet she is still sucking on MCs cock in his sleep by the start of Chapter 2.

Yeah I don't think the whole episode was useless there was definitely some stuff there that is important for the story. I didn't hate it, but overall I felt like the hospital stuff just dragged out. I wasn't expecting him to just magically be fine after taking that kind of beating but like I said in situations like that I feel like it's just better to give the player the important information, do a time skip and advance the story.

There is someting between pulitzer prize and 12yo level of writing. The writing is quite bad, the mc is dumb and thinks with his dick like a basic porn mc. Furthermore, some choices are not fully taken into account, and they are not many. Lots of (sex) scenes are played without player input. Despite those flaws, it's not the worst game I played on here. I was waiting for the full rework to play it and I'm pretty disappointed considering its rating.
