Like most bosses, it's all about reading and adapting. The boss is a lot easier when you take the 1000 cuts method and get small chips of damage in here and there rather than committing to big, powerful hits.

Trust me, they do have some effect, even if it's small. It just takes patience. That said, the barrel counter does deal a helluva lot of damage, so I can understand why it may seem like that.

Because the gaming market on DLsite, Itch and elsewhere has been saturated to the point of near-drowning with RPG-related games since Lockdown, and probably a fair bit before then too.

the site is in japanese so it's hard to navigate. That's what this forum is for, at least to me it's more convient

Browser auto translate is a thing. Also dates are numerical, you don't have to know japanese to see that articles are being updated.
It's convenient to ask people to do some basic search for you, yes. But expect comments of critique if you can't do two clicks yourself.
