Hey everyone! Just another quick update! I was able to find the primary asset file storing the bulk of the text after decompiling the game and searching around inside its contents. As such, the translation process is basically finished at this stage! I'm currently going through and polishing the translations and making sure everything displays properly (some text extends off the screen or disappears entirely if the word is too long) before I post the translation patch.
One notable thing that I will leave untranslated is the opening haiku, since translating it turns it into a sloppy and unreadable mess (see for yourself in the screenshot below) and I can't adjust the orientation of the text to make it work better with English text. As such, I will leave it in its original Japanese form to preserve the aesthetic of the opening. Anyways, that's all for now!
